I think the feathers shirt-gate highlighted displeasure with the name and brand…moved it from the back burner. Like it or not, message has been sent

It needs to go sooner rather than later

Yes, it certainly has and yes sooner rather than later should be the choice.

I couldn't be happier with shirt Gate lol I dunno about a C tho... I'd keep the W above most else sans our logo.

Pretty good bio. Love the fact that he manages the salary cap and contracts. That is huge in this business. A seismic offseason for this franchise.

@AlGaldi
The #Commanders with Adam Peters, Lance Newmark, Eugene Shen, Dave Gardi and now Brandon Sosna and David Blackburn are building an absolute powerhouse of a front office. Outstanding to see.

Towards the end of his ownership tenure, all Snyder cared about is to get as much money as possible out of the team.

He took out a $55 million dollar loan under the team's name, was charging the team $10 mil annually to use his private jet, and even charged the team $4.5 mil to put the team logo on his private jet as "advertisement" (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/d...et-per-report/). You really think he gave two shits about the name change, something that was costing him money?

Is anyone else a little surprised that Jason Peters and Mayhew were retained with the current regime? Honestly though both would be goners after the Snyder era or at least after the Rivera era.

(Jason Wright?) At first, yes. But these are big organizations that need to keep functioning during transitions. Plus they are useful in other ways to the new regime. Over time, just like water, they will settle to their rightful level.

Mayhew and AP worked together before so no it's not a big surprise.

I'm sure he signed off on it ultimately, but did he really care that much about the name at that point knowing he had one foot out the door? I really doubt it. I think all he really cared about was how much he was going to get for selling.
