Re: Coronavirus (political)

They both just need to STFU.............................

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/kare...191320110.html

According to the second lady, Pence was apparently unaware of the Mayo Clinic’s policy requiring all visitors to wear face masks. “As our medical experts have told us, wearing a mask prevents you from spreading disease. And knowing he doesn’t have COVID-19, he didn’t wear one,” she said. “It was actually after he left Mayo Clinic that he found out that they had a policy of asking everyone to wear a mask.” A report from CNN disputed that claim, stating that Pence’s team was briefed by the clinic days before his scheduled visit.

The second lady’s comments come as Pence receives immense backlash for his decision not to wear a face mask, especially since he has spearheaded the coronavirus task force at the White House. In a now-deleted tweet, the Mayo Clinic said it had informed the Vice President of its masking policy before his arrival. The policy, issued April 13 states that all patients and visitors are required to wear a face covering or mask, per recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

After looking at the picture I'm going to side with the MAYO CLINIC on this one , pretty sure people there know how to wear a freaking mask.

All this is dumb and wasted energy. Like it or not states are easing restrictions...red or blue it’s happening everywhere and a one size doesn’t fit all. The politicization of this is weak, whether it’s these idiots with guns or New York Times editorial board hoping And praying for red states Trump voters to get the virus and spread because those chose to open or not close at their own pace.

Governors are looking at state budgets and business operations...they are wincing. Virginia today opened all hospitals, vets, and dentist for elective surgery and appointments...he just announced this Monday. This is less 2 weeks after he said otherwise, and with no criticism ...WHY? Because the situation is fluid and the impact of health care facilities across the state haven’t been significantly impacted at all. One size Doesn’t fit all is 1000% correct by the President.

Who in their right mind would treat Upstate NY like NYC? We need to be smart and autonomy works be best.

I think the guns are part of the symbolism of the type people protesting. Long guns are great, especially the so called assault rifles. They will probably carry me through this pandemic and when Biden gets elected things will really be great. About 50%+ of my machine shop business goes to making parts for people catering to hobbies. I think a change in people's spending habits are going to hurt that sector real bad. 25% or so is medical, that will stay steady and is bullet proof. Gun related items were about 25% as a year in year out average over the last dozen years.

The thing that drives gun related sales is usually good ole panic buying, which we now have, as people want to stock up on guns and ammo to protect their supply of toilet paper. After that when Biden gets elected the fear of an assault rifle ban will create excessive buying of those and related accessories.

I have one gun related customer who has gone crazy sending me orders in the last two months. I manufacture parts used in gunsmithing kits to work on AK-47s among other things. In a lengthy discussion on how keep him at minimum supply on all items the subject of politics related to guns came up.
I have done business with this guy for well over a dozen years and I was shocked that it never dawned on him that a Democrat in office is the best thing for his bank account, due to the fear of "They are going to take our guns away." After some thought he did realize his business took a big down turn when Trump was elected.

What does a really big mass shooting do for business?

So after 4 years of declining sales in this gentleman's business he didn't realize the loss revenue until having a phone call conversation with you?

Hmmmm ok.....

Also I would think but not knowing your business the 25% medical portion would grow.

By BB logic I would think it would increase business because the fear of the guns being taken away much like having JFK in office.

JFK and mass shootings equal big gun business.

Pretty sure there is a whole class at Wharton on it.
