Keim also mentioned that JD tends to make smart decisions, whether to take the risk or not. Seems like JD is hyper aware of potential risks and acts accordingly, which is pretty amazing for a rookie.
I'd say the difference is he doesn't take chances where he doesn't need to; situational awareness. He doesn't feel the need to keep scoring TD's because he shows faith in his teammates. Even if a mistaken belief, he thinks that he doesn't have to force it in there as the D will help him out if he just avoids the turnover. The real test (and I think he'll pass) is when he has to force it in there, when he must go for a risky throw when the game is on the line and he has no choice. The Hail Mary aside he really hasn't had to worry about those much.

As exciting as RG3's rookie year was, JD is somehow surpassing it.

As with anything during that time, having the Snyder cloud over everyone's head always meant that somehow, something was going to go wrong. Thankfully that is not the case anymore.

well by week 9 in 2012 we were 3-6 ; then we won 7 in a row to finish out

so i say jd5 has definitely started stronger lets se how he finishes

but i see jd5 being a much better long term prospect then RG3

The Washington Commanders are making it to the red zone on 48.8% of all of their drives 🪖

That is the highest percent for any team in any season since 2000 🤯

1st out of 798

I’d say Kliff’s college offense is working. How dumb must that db (which also stands for douchebag) from the Bengals feel now?

I hope he is prepared for the idea of KK being head coach of the bears next season . . . hope not, but wouldn't doubt it.

I’d be surprised if KK leaves after 1 season. He’s still young and they are building something special here. It’s not like Ben Johnson’s stock has gone down. I hope he wants to find the ceiling with our team.

I've been hoping the same thing . . . but now seeing him mentioned everywhere they they think will be looking for a new coach and Chicago makes a lot of sense if he sees anything in Caleb Williams since he knows him so well.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread

Perhaps KK is perfectly content with being an OC only and also working with a budding superstar QB

That would be best case scenarios for sure!!! . . . but he most likely has that competitive fire that wants to prove he is not a failure as a head coach.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread

Question is who has a better chance at getting him a ring. Right now I say we edge it over the Bears and any other likely landing spot.
