SF, don’t take it serious. I’m just trolling the Cult of Sam.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Jamf ..you created the cult ... we all could see what was going on but your post at least for me made me want him to succeed even more .. It's because of you that I will always be pulling for Sam to succeed no matter where he is at .. and he will be successful ( maybe not great) but I will say before his career is done he will have success.. I'm glad I don't have the hate for anyone like that ..

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Pool of open head coaching positions just got deeper with firing of Atlanta Falcons Arthur Smith which worries me that pool of available head coaches for Washington just got shallower.

I don't think that will matter....Washington's HCing job is more desirable than Atlanta's head coaching job.....

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Pool, schmool. Washington is a top attraction for a GM/HC combination with Harris now in charge. We'll have every chance of grabbing one of the top 3 in each category provided Harris and his gang know what they are doing. And all the signs suggest they do.
Right now I'm just sitting here waiting on them to wake up Monday AM and make the first announcements that start off our new era properly. Everything else is down to the league schedule. |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
They probably have a birthday card and cake to cut first and then they have to sing and ask him how his birthday was. You know typical office stuff on a Monday when someone has a weekend birthday.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Blank didn't even wait until Black Monday, Arthur Smith got his walking papers hella quick.
Mred what's taking so long? I would assume Harris is just a respectful person and will wait for him to come in today so he can pack up his office.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
That and it was Rons birthday yesterday, don't think Josh wants to be seen as such a douche to a guy who is widely respected, doesn't look good to potential candidates with options. Today/tomorrow/next week doesn't make a lot of difference. Does not stop them doing due diligence on prospective replacements.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
EB is not gonna happen. We just need to keep him around for about 2 weeks after the Superbowl - by then all the vacancies around the league will be filled. Next coach can determine if he wants to keep him or not. If the next coach doesn't want him I expect him to interview for OC around the league or go back to KC.
