lol ... I thought the same thing.

Since I don't listen to him often, it was one of those "Am I missing something?" moments. I then went back and looked at some of his stuff and thought "Nope. I am not."

You don't listen to him often but know how good/bad he is as a football guy?

Sound analysis.

There is no downside to reporting things that aren't true.

So I'm looking stuff up online and I can't find out any recovery timeframe for dislocated ankles WITHOUT fractures. Anyone care to be a doctor and lets us know what RG3 might be looking at for recovery?

8-12 weeks. Just a guess.

I listen to him often enough to know that anyone who believes:

isn’t following too much of “the Media." In the locals, Keim is head and shoulders above anyone else. Tandler is damn good too. Boyer seems to know his stuff only been following him recently. Bashir is good and he and Tandler give good coverage. In the national coverage, Clayton, Mortensen.

Not saying Sheehan is horrible. Again, don’t listen to him enough to say that. I have listened to him often enough to know he is not even in the conversation when it comes to “smartest football guy in the media.”

So basically his season done. Which I guess we all knew. If he is back by December, the Redskins are either playing for the playoffs and Cousins is great or they are stinking it up and there will be no reason to play Griffin, which means long off season for the front office trying to sort this QB mess out.

there's the possibility cousins plays well enough to keep them in contention, but not well enough to keep Griffin on the bench once healthy.

there are more options than cousins plays well enough to keep the job or sucks and the season goes down the tubes.

Fair enough, though to me you seem to be listing people that have more connections than people that actually understand the game of football.

But hey, opinions and all that.

As someone that used to be big on Chris Cooley.... he clearly is quite a homer and does a lot of double talk... He started out the 2013 seasons saying how awesome everyone was going to be, and ended it saying he expected them to be bad. I haven't heard him give insight that actually panned out...

He once said he thought fred davis was going to become a pro bowler for us, after he retired. You'd think, given as much time as Cooley spent around Davis, he'd have had a better informed opinion of Davis than that...

That said, sure, I'll give you the former players and add to the list Doc Walker. And I do really like Cooley for the most part, I've just lost any faith in what he says... there's no rhyme or reason to when he hits/misses on things... I listen to his show pretty much in its entirety every day.

Jackson and Clarke? lol ok.

Gruden - "... we'll know if a few more weeks how long he's going to be out..."

Going to put it in a cast for a couple of weeks, not sure how long rehab will be.

dislocated, no fracture.

sending MRI to Andrews.

No rough guess on time table.

Re: Skins-Jags Positives and Negatives

I think its mostly about saying things to get attention, if you get a lot of hate that works also, Wise keeps himself employed somehow. I would love to sitdown with Wise, just to prove how much more about football I know then he does.

Also Keim could probably be a scout if he wanted too.
