Sigh, so close, yet so far away.

Isn't this exactly what people wanted down the stretch for the Redskins? Hard fought game, with a loss at the end?

What a tease. 8 losses in 9 games.

And Grossan throws another pick to a Middle Linebacker. As least we get consistancy from Grossman, he is going to consistently turn the ball over every game.

Regardless of everything...

I am fully satisfied with today's game.

Offense actually played like an NFL offense for the most part, we were competitive, and losing doesn't hurt so bad anymore.

I really do not want to finish 7-9... my least favorite record besides 0-16.

And I was just about to post that someone will moronically claim that INT was Grossman's fault

You're honestly going to pull that? Brady collapsed harder than Grossman IF ANYTHING.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

I'd put more blame on Williams and Davis. Hard to imagine Fred Davis not going for 100 yards today were he playing, and he would have been a go-to receiver in the redzone at the end. And the Grossman fumble for a TD was based on pressure from the left.

Cannot give up 350+ yards passing and expect to win. They played with some heart, though.

Moss has been dropping them so much lately.

Re: Redskins vs. Patriots Game Day Thread

I'm quite proud of the Skins today.
They game a SB contender all they wanted. They played with heart all day and easily have thrown in the towel after the start we had.....

I didn't get the game out here in San Diego, I just saw that he threw an interception on the ESPN ticker, didnt see how it happened. I just assumed its his fault because thats the normal. My bad. I'll retract my statement.
