voting for the Pro Bowl is like this: 33 percent by fans, 33 percent by media, and 33 percent by coaches and players.

Re: Mark Brunell for Pro Bowl?

I'd probably go with Hasselbeck, Brunell, and Delhomme. Brunell deserves to be in since he has the second best QB rating out of all starting NFC QBs and has one of the best TD-INT ratios. Really the only guarantee to get in is Hasselbeck and since this has not been a great year for quaterbacks in the NFC in general, I would not be surprised to see anyone else get in. Even Delhomme, who ranks third in QB rating, has 20 TDs and 15 ints. Not the best numbers.

The cowboys get much love so based on the media and cowboys I say Bledsoe gets in over Brunell. Though he should get it over Bledsoe.
No, it isn't that I think Mike Vick is worthy at all. I think that some guys tend to make it on reputation alone.

What's funny is that, statistacally, Sean Taylor may have had a better year last year. But he could make it this year because he's starting to develop a reputation as a vicious hitter. (see Terry Glenn last week, A.J. Arrington)

The question of Vick being worthy of a Pro Bowl selection is really a question of what makes a player a Pro Bowler. If you judge by straight numbers, then Vick falls short of the top quarterbacks in the NFC. But if you judge by the complete 180 degree turn that the Falcons take, in the wrong direction, when he's not playing, it's hard to dispute the fact that he's a game changer.
