John Hall is the only injury prone kicker in the world.

Re: Novak Cut, McCune Activated
McCune's activation is pretty much irrelevant; it's not like he's going to see any real time on the field. I'd be surprised if he played on special teams. I've always been intrigued by him, but he's not going to be a factor in our game plans for quite some time, if ever.
Novak didn't really impress me all that much. Yes, he won the game-winning field goal against the Seahawks. But, Novak also couldn't kick the ball past the 10 yard line on kickoffs, had two of his field goals blocked, and didn't kick any really long field goals. Perhaps he's better than I'm giving him credit for, but I have yet to see Novak demonstrate more than he's an adequate backup. |

Re: Novak Cut, McCune Activated
To be honest, I liked Novack only because he made a couple of clutch kicks for us. To be honest though, I was always worried when he was on the field. He didnt have great power on kickoffs and had two feild goals blocked. I know it wasent 100% his fault, but they were still low balls. John Hall is defintley the better kicker, as long as he stays healthy.
Everyone else has said it, but its gonna suck to see him go to Dallas. I wish him the best as long as hes not there lol.

Re: Novak Cut, McCune Activated
I'm assuming the Skins waited as long as they possibly could for Hall to get healthy, and they now feel comfortable enough with him to let Novak go.
Let's not overreact here, Novak isn't a future Hall of Famer just yet, Hall over Novak is a no-brainer. When healthy Hall is a much, much better kicker. That being said, I have my fingers crossed when it comes to him staying healthy the rest of the season. |
