Re: Washington Post

This is what I emailed to him:

"Where I come from, it's called home field advantage, it's called the 12th man.

There's nothing bush league about getting riled up to cheer for your favorite team. Things start getting hairy with batteries start getting chucked from the stands (Thanks Eagles). Since when did football become a gentleman's game? I feel that as every year goes by, more and more REAL football is being taken out of the sport. If we wanted to see people quiet during plays and lightly clapping for a good shot or play, we'd go see golf or tennis.

But we come to see FOOTBALL, where the fans are loud and the fans cheer for their favorite team with all they have. If that makes you bush league, consider every fan from every city guilty as charged.

Sincerely,
Ben"

Re: Washington Post

Why we all disagree with these statements by George S. I went on the extreme site and brought up a interesting issue. Now the claim was that extreme would never be used by the skins and it was for the fans. But I find it interesting that they have used it on there own webpage redskins.com as a lead story. Seems to me that they are using the forum to spread ill will. Would love to see everybody weigh in on this issue.

Re: Washington Post

Not to be redundant but "WHA????????" It seems inconceivable that a featured sports journalist for a major newspaper like the Post would make such a misguided statement. It displays one of a couple things. None of which are good. Either he is a complete idiot when it comes to sports, he dislikes the Redskins organization so much he has to find a reason to get angry or it's that time of the month and he isn't thinking clearly. In any case it is completely unprofessional and honestly I am amazed the post would even allow it. What do you all think the editor said when he read it? Truly amazing.
