Re: Skins gear at work

Unfortunately, I am doing nothing to support the team today (of course, other than going to the game on Sunday and dropping $$ on overpriced beer etc.).

I hear ya - I went to school in Boston in the mid-90s, and nobody talked about the Pats. Of course, that was at the beginning of the flying elvis phase.

I talked my team into taking the Skins since I have so much gear, so I've got 5 other people decked out in Skins jerseys and hats today, and I'm sporting my authentic Arrington today!

Life is good!

Anybody else representing the Skins at work today??
Hey Matty,
I run a shipping-receiving department for a media company here on Long Island and every few months I have what I call a "Theme Friday". A few Month's ago we had Hawaiian Friday where we all wore Hawaiian shirts and ate Pineapple Chicken. Then we had Cowboy Friday where we all dressed like Cowboys (The real one's not those asshole's from Dallas) and we ordered BBQ chicken. So with Football season starting Sunday, today is naturally Football Friday!! So I'm in my white Portis jersey with the new Reebok helmet hat. The rest of the guys didn’t have football jerseys either so I supplied them with all my older Redskins jerseys as well, we have Dexter Manley, John Riggins and Doug Williams being represented here today. –Mike

I am sporting my skins t-shirt like I do every Friday here in TX. Man, I love the looks I get from the cowpoke fans!

Gameday jersey will be Taylor, then Arrington for the second half.

Is it wrong that I feel like a kid before Christmas?

I liked how Al Michaels said Happy New Year last night during his pregame analysis.

Nice touch and definitely sums up our feelings as football fans!

Hey Mattk72, I caught that comment from Michaels last night too.... "Happy New Year"! September 11th will begin my "New Year". I hope it is a good one for all of our sakes.

Didn't work today, but wore my script R black hat out to go shopping in Brooklyn. Gotta represent where I can!
