Re: Iggles pre game thread
In the last 5 weeks the Iggles have squeaked out two wins vs the Browns and Jaguars. Anyone who thinks we have no chance is crazy.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
If we lose, we’re still 7-4 and the schedule is still favorable to at least 10-7 at worst and that should get us a playoff berth.

If we don't win by a touchdown, I will be shocked. One other thing I believe is true, is JD5 steps up in the lights and we are going to see the team reminiscent of the Cincy game. Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |

I hate them and hope we win. I really hope fucking destroy them... but we're just not there yet as a team and especially not on defense

Re: Iggles pre game thread
I think the coaching staff simply needs to decide whether Lattimore, BRob, Wylie, and Lucas play based on what the medical staff says. If they're cleared, play them. If not, don't. They just need some clarity from the medical staff. I'd love to see all of them (or at least some of them) play because I think without Lattimore and at least one of Wylie or Lucas, we're in trouble between their D-line and WRs. BRob would be great too, but I actually think he's less important than keeping AJ Brown and D. Smith from torching us deep, and keeping JD5 from getting killed. As we saw last week, KK can scheme around the loss of our RT with chips, sliding over help, quick throws, etc., but it does limit our offense and we have now just previewed what that looks like to Philly care of Sunday's game.
Winning this game would be more satisfying than any win so far this season, to me, at least, as I think Philly is the class of our division until we prove otherwise. And you know if we beat them at home, the Sirianni v. team banter will come up again, as it has already this season. My real fantasy is that we blow them out at home and then the fans turn on Sirianni (again) and it becomes a cluster. But perhaps too much to ask for when our team is banged up and playing on a short week (and after having a much stiffer contest on Sunday than Philly did). One last thing -- i really hope that Philly doesn't do the tush push again. I hate that play with the intensity of a thousand suns. Weak ass shit isn't real football to me.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
If a player can agrevate an injury and be out for a month it would be stupid to play him, and they are not stupid.
I'm not feeling this one. We are beat up and not playing our best. Sure the Eagles are beating bad teams but they are more talented and their best players (WR) go against our weakness. People counted the Eagles out too soon, this one could get ugly. |

Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk edit: in addition to the mini bye, and bye weeks our next two opponents are dallas and tennessee, we really have 38 days after this Thursday before we play the Eagles again. If players do need a month to get healthy we have that. Last edited by CRedskinsRule; 11-12-2024 at 08:14 PM. |

Re: Iggles pre game thread
Begrudgingly I agree with those saying better to rest injured starters for Thursday. Take teh 10 days and get healthy, if we still beat the Eagles wonderful, but better to beat everyone else then beat them in teh next game than lose someone like Lattimore or BRob for an extended period. We have to have one eye on the playoffs now. Don't want to get there and have little or no hope in the 1st round.

Re: Iggles pre game thread
for those saying to hold players out - I just want to clarify, are you saying to hold them out even if the medical staff clears them to play?

Re: Iggles pre game thread
If they are cleared to play, play them. We play to win not scared. I don't think fans are recognizing how huge of a victory this would be. I'm not saying that we'll definitely win, but I will say this:
Daniels > Hurts Quinn > Sirianni Let's go! |
