Have Brady as your QB.

Very good game, frustrating tie.
We're not going to beat down anybody so we gotta win those close winnable games. And we had a shot, and contrary to the last few games we didn't need a flukish turnover or a stupide playcall by the opposing team to win. This was a legitimately close contested game and we couldn't close it out because we're limited at QB and our Oline isn't as good as I thought.

I know we have some injuries on that front, but between the crucifying holding penalties and the blown pass protect, our big men didn't have a good game at all.

Defense did its job imo, take away what they got attacking our 7th round pick CB Christian Holmes and that's a dominant performance.

My man Danny Johnson with 3 solid plays at the end of regulation (sack, pass defended (good no call) and almost INT (should've had it but we know he's not a ball hawk)) !

Oh and on the drive where Thomas had that excruciating holding penalty, a couple of drives before they tied, Jahan Dotson had an amazing play where he managed to slow down 2 defenders just enough to give Heinicke time to throw it... To him and he got the first down... Loved that play!

NFL games should not end in ties. Now our record is going to look weird the rest of the season.

That call being overturned is the biggest bullshit call this season in one of our games. Clearly a penalty and clearly not uncatchable.

We need a real OC, and a better arm under center. Taylor either overthrows or under throws every third pass he throws. And Scott Turner is so lucky that he was ever even allowed to be on an NFL staff.

Our Oline cannot pass pro, out OC is only in the league because of his father, and our quarterback has a noodle arm.

That being said we would have won if not for that PI being picked up and I never bitch about the refs.

It's embarrassing how bad our line is at pass protection.

Every pass Heinicke throws is a wild card pass. Never know where that shit will land. He scares the daylights out of me every time the ball leaves his hand.

Wentz's passes don't scare me, but every time he drops back he terrifies me in the pocket.

QB1 next year is either Howell or not on the roster yet.

Re: Mandos vs. Vagiants post game thread pt1

Most of you brother posters are acting like whiney bitches over the tie. The tie at their place was fine. Now we just need kick their butts at our place in two weeks.

Also, why are some of you so hung up on our weaknesses? That's practically the theme of this entire thread.

Let's see if I can guess one of those problem areas after reading about them approximately ten thousand times on this site:

TH is not a true starting QB in the NFL. He has a weak arm. Is that right? I agree. So what? There is no better option for us right now. We can worry about the starting QB position going forward in the offseason.

Fortunately, Taylor is also one of the better backup QB's in the NFL. He is super smart, has above average athletic ability, is positively relentless and gutsy, gets better at managing the game each week, inspires his teammates, and maximizes all of his skills and character traits in game after game. That is all we have a right to ask from him.

As for our other weaknesses, or challenges, the coaches and FO are doing the best they can to keep us competitive. I'm satisfied about where we are right now and I'll be thrilled if we make the playoffs.
