I'm playing it on Fanduel, only reason I'll watch.

Re: Xfl
I like the kick off rules/formation. Seems like it’s be an interesting concept to bring to the NFL.

Re: Xfl
Interesting to see Kevin Gilbride and Jerry Glanville still involved in the game.

Also crazy how many former NFL players/coaches there are in this league. I've barely even watched but it seems like every other mention is an ex-NFL player or coach.

Re: Xfl
I had no issues with the games this weekend. It's better than preseason football.

Re: Xfl
I watched the second half...Cardale Jones could be our back up QB.

Re: Xfl
The same thing that kills all these leagues is lack of star power. Who are the must see players? Until they can attract some names of interest the XFL is doomed to fail, yet again.

Re: Xfl
Theres only 8 teams. When I watched it on tv then heard sports radio call in on Saturday (driving around a lot) .. theres was a sense of genuine DMV sporting pride. DC is very transient. A caller said hes from Seattle and a Seahawk fan, buddy is from Texas and a Cowboy fan but they are united as DC Defender fans.
There was a good bit of positive buzz around DC .. but thats only bc we have a DC team. If we didnt, zero chance Im tuning into seattle v houston or something like that. For the DC area, it was cool. People were into it.

Re: Xfl
Anyone else notice the games flowed better as the refs kept their flags in their pockets more often than the NFL refs did? I saw quite a few nasty hits that even if perfectly within the rules would have drawn a flag in an NFL game but did not in this past weekends XFL action.

Re: Xfl
The XFL can build its star power. Its hard to have star power after only one game. The difference between the XFL and the AAF is that the XFL has a strong financial backing which can, if nothing else, buy time for star power to develop.
