Re: Panthers Post Game
I also think we may have something in receivers with Mclaurin, Sims, and Harmon. All 3 are gamers. Haskins looked much better today. Far different qb with time to throw. Cannon for an arm and seemed more accurate. Guice/AP looked good. Impressive showing. Honestly didn't think I'd see this in awhile. Thrilled I did.

Re: Panthers Post Game
THE GOOD:
Peterson, Guice, and Bryce Love could make for the best RB group in the league next year. Haskins is not making great plays. His accuracy continues to be a problem... but he's absolutely not hurting us either. If he keeps progressing and putting in the work, he could become a 2018 Alex Smith - and i mean that as a compliment. Sims and Harmon are looking like keepers. We have a nice young trio of WRs with them and McClaurin. OLBs I've never heard of before playing better than Anderson, Sweat, and Kerrigan. THE BAD: We got a win. We were so close to securing the ability to draft Chase Young. Now, it seems likely the Giants will be in the position to draft him and we can watch him wreak havoc on Haskins for years to come. Bruce is telling Dan, "See, i told you we were close." Callahan and Manusky are telling Bruce: "See how good we are - we need to keep this going in 2020."

Re: Panthers Post Game
This is exactly what I was going to post. It was the first time all year long where I was back to yelling and cursing at the tv while watching the Redskins.

Re: Panthers Post Game
I was flipping back and forth but actually cheered them on in the 4th QTR for a change.
I will say, I like this young core

Re: Panthers Post Game
Agreed with others. First time this year the game was truly a pleasure to watch. I rooted for a loss last week, and that was the first time in my life, but fuck that noise now. I want a high draft pick, and if we don't get one, so be it.

Re: Panthers Post Game
As dumb as this may sound, I'd rather win out than get a top 5 pick. I think it would be HUGE for Haskins and the other young guys development.. That won't happen though, I think at best we will see 5-11.. Most likely 4-12.

Re: Panthers Post Game
Haskins really likes to throw to the TE...unfortunately it’s Sprinkle.
If I’m the Skins, my top free agent target is gonna be TE Eric Ebron. And I’m gonna use a 3rd or 4th round pick for TE as well. Now that Quinn got a concussion on just a garbage play...keep Sims in at slot the rest of the year.

Re: Panthers Post Game
A few things from yesterday's film.
Matt I, is a STUD! He's actually our best DL right now. Dunbar was good again, he deserves a Pro Bowl nod. Terry dropped a couple which is unlike him, he's also getting a ton of attention. We need a TE in the worst way, Sprinkle sucks. OL was good especially in the run game. Haskins moved away from pressure again yesterday and showed some promise. Leave Norman on the bench Start Sims over Quinn.

Re: Panthers Post Game
I don't think that's dumb at all. Why in the world are people rooting for their team to lose? So they can get a higher draft pick? I don't care if the Redskins end up with the 1st pick, the 3rd pick, or the 15th pick. They will get a first round draft pick, and a potential quality player, regardless. No one, not even Chase Young, is a guarantee. Do your best to win out, build the confidence of this young core of players, and take some momentum into 2020. That would mean so much more than any potential higher draft pick who some people curiously want to tank for. Leave the tanking to the NBA already. I want to see this team battle, improve, and hopefully win out. It's not likely, but that's what I want.

Re: Panthers Post Game
Call me what you wanna call me, I've been here all along. I've been a Redskins fan for almost 40 years. I have never rooted for this team to lose, and I never will. I don't know if that makes me a superfan or not, I'll let you decide that. I'm critical when I think criticism is necessary, but I don't over analyze. As bad as things have been, I can still enjoy a win, and hope there's many more to come.
