the guy from UCLA is supposed to a "bruiser" type back, so hopefully he can fill that void of a goaline/short yardage back or even a lead blocker.

I wonder if Gibbs is signing him for character. I hope he doesn't go overboard on that kind of thing. I mean if he wants character, start signing up entire non-profit organizations.

Got some local guys from University of Maryland....
From The Washington Times article today: Maryland wide receiver Rich Parson and defensive back Ray Custis are among at least 12 undrafted rookies who have signed with the Redskins. The club will release the list today. Terrapins safety Chris Kelley, running back Sammy Maldonado, wide receiver Steve Suter and defensive end Kevin Eli are expected among the unsigned players trying out at this week's rookie minicamp. |
