RG3...for being his usual stupid self. Zero vision plus awful throwing mechanics usually get you hurt.
I've never personally attacked anyone in my years on this board, but calling a player's leaving the game a positive after a season-ending injury is crossing the line. You sir, are an A-hole of the highest degree.

Honestly I be shocked if RGIII ever takes a snap as a Skin again. Totally waste that trade. The guy is glass.

Not petty at all. Another reason to love how season schedules are set up with the 32 team league. Two enemy divisions we can measure ourselves in the NFCE by. I hope we keep the 16 game reg season, and add no teams.

What about Tress Way kicking off. If he can take that over than Forbaith can be just a FG kicker. Which is good for us I think.

Re: Skins-Jags Positives and Negatives

Redemption for Haslett, Cousins and Paul. They got run through the ringer by fans and on this site, some of it deserved. But they came out ok. It turns out they were not as bad as most thought.

The defense wow! The obvious: Kerrigan and Jason Hatcher.
Less obvious Chris Baker and Keenan Robinson solid and outstanding. Perry Riley 1,5 sacks. Secondary is improving
Not good: Rambo

Offense:
Obvious: Cousins, Paul, Morris, Helu, A. Roberts
Not so obvious: R. Grant (can't remember a redskin rookie WR contributing in a long time), Offensive Line improved or was it our new QB made it easier.

In the NFL the players that are "playing the best" are not always on the field. Sometimes business and what is invested in player supersedes football.
This had started to happen to us at QB. Sometimes the player deemed with more talent is not playing well and in a slump. RGIII has incredible talent when healthy. He has tough time staying healthy. Plus he never regained his form after his major knee injury.
Some on this site really want to win the trade with St.Louis and are upset. Winning cures that.

I myself wonder what they will do with him - I think he might be around another year but it wouldn't surprise me if they try and trade him, especially if Cousins plays well and we have a good season.

I understand that they invested alot in him, traded away the future, etc... but draft picks and/or trades go bad all the time. We have always sort of been "cursed" with the number one pick....

This makes me think of in 2007 when there was all that noise about how terrible the offensive line was, etc... joe gibbs' coaching, blah blah blah. Jason Campbell goes down with a knee injury, all of a sudden we are in a high-scoring offense and the o-line looks like it recovered over night. Sometimes it really is the QB and i think this is one of those situations...

Re: Skins-Jags Positives and Negatives

I have no problem with saying that I want rg3 out of the game. I really dont care for him at all and I hope we have heard the last of him as a Redskin.

He can't play so why would I want him in the game?

You can say that with out being ass hole about it. The man gave it his all and left it on the field. He worked his ass off to try and get back. It did not work out. Don't make it personal.

We can only hope....but you know dannyboy, he is going to want a new marketing tool before rg3 can be discarded for good.

It's not personal and I never made it personal. I commented on his sucky play. And unlike folks here I am not going to grieve his loss.
