I'm hoping Thomas can return and take over a starting spot.
At this point, I think we may need to re-sign Doughty. There's some decent FAs still out there, I still think we should look at Major Wright and Thomas DeCoud.

Trying to look at this objectively...once they missed on Byrd I think it makes some decent sense that the other Safeties available aren't really much better than BW. Why put 5 years into a younger version of the same average S? Rent the guy you know for another year and take a another swing at it next year. BW hasn't been terrible. The penalties have been the problem.

Good move. I know he's quite controversial in Redskins Nation, but I think it's the way to go.
Now you have to wonder if Doughty will be back. Hard to see them both resigned... |
