Re: Cowboys Release Demarcus Ware

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports free agent DE/OLB DeMarcus Ware is already drawing interest from "six playoff teams."

There's debate over how much Ware, 32 in July, has left in the tank, but it doesn't sound like he's going to be on the open market for long. Ware has averaged nearly a sack per game during his nine-year career, and missed only three lifetime contests. Of course, all three came in 2013, where Ware registered a career-low six sacks.

So, Ware and Jared Allen will take less to go to the Broncos for a chance to ride with Peyton.

If anyone is watching NFL Network right now M. Faulk made great sense when he said Ware, Pepper & Allen should all takev 3 MIL & go to Denver.

These two have made a lot of money, been around a while, the end is near. They want a ring. Can't blame them. I'd do the same thing.

I imagine that someone like New England might at least feel tempted to offer him slightly more then other teams or at least try to sell him hard on the benefits of the Patriot way. Granted New Englands pass rush was much improved last year but given the only average years before where they ranked middle of the pack in sacks I'd imagine they'd be happy with a bit more insurance.

No. He's going to go to a contender, and we are very far from being one. My guess is he forced Dallas hand just so he could roll out to a better team.

It's between Seattle and Chicago for Jared Allen reportedly. I really hope Seattle doesn't get him. They've lost some pieces so far and I don't want to see them contend again.

I can't, unless he takes a very small deal. Dallas has less than 10 million in cap space.

Re: Cowboys Release Demarcus Ware

Doubtful. He intentionally only chose Denver to visit and I don't think he'd sign anywhere else before he sits down with them.

Denver's looking like the Yankees of the NFL.

Not really, there's a salary cap in football. They're just looking like geniuses.

It's hard to blame them. If any team can feel like it is just one or two stars away from a Lombardi, it's Denver. Plus Manning gives them a narrow time window.
