Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Is this the yearly thread, where someone claims the Skins can get a top WR, CB, or DL for a couple of late picks and some scrub that shouldn't be on the roster?

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Depends on how many guys we sign. If we lose more than we sign, we get picks. I believe it also depends on the type/amount of contract they sign.

Both have fallen out of favor with their team. I think you are off-base if you think a trade like this couldn't happen. From the TE position Davis has great stats.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
It seems reasonable to me that Britt for Davis might be a deal that would suit both teams.
I wouldn't give up a draft pick for Britt but I'd like to get a draft pick for Davis from some team.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Is there really anyway we could make a feasible trade? I'd rather draft a young guy than get some dude a couple years away from being washed up. Plus that cap hit hurt us pretty bad this year.
Just wait til the off-season to start loading and unloading guys. This season is probably a wash anyway.

Redskins are aggressively shopping Fred Davis | ProFootballTalk
Looks like the Skins are trying to get ANYTHING AT ALL for Davis. If not they might just let him hit waivers. lol damn how the mighty have fallen.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
It'll be a shame if Fred produces elsewhere. Is he last of the Cerrato guys on offense?

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Im hoping they dont cut him if they cant trade him. They are better off letting him hit free agency and hoping to get a supplemental pick depending on how many FA's they sign. I have seen Reed getting up slow and limping around more than once, Fred may still end up with a role this year.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Britt has lost all his talent due to leg injuries. He will never return to form. Its sad but true. Davis is worth way more than Britt.

Why would anybody want Britt is beyond me?
Kenny Britt being shopped hard by Tennessee Titans - NFL.com Kenny Britt - Tennessee Titans - 2013 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com I think this sums it up. Quote:
So you guys want to replace our shitty WR with a even worse WR?? FFS people.

I wish we could move Davis for a "potential" guy at the end of a roster in the secondary or Oline department or even ILB.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
HELL NO on Britt.
We're fine at WR. Sure a Josh Gordon would help but we're not hurting at the position. We need defense, defense and more defense...and a new offensive coordinator...and a punter.

Re: Should we make a move by the trade deadline
Would love Gordon.. Former Baylor teammate of RG3, Would cost roughly about 300k for him and he's only 22.
Would cost us a 2nd round pick i'm sure but that's something i'm willing ot give up for a playmaker who already has chemistry with RG3.
