I hope it doesn't come down to a FG from Potter.

We have to take this one.

Skins 34
Raiders 2 TDs, 3 FGs = 23

If it's close in the fourth quarter (within 10 points either way) we lose.

That being said, I too think we hand them a whoopin'. Based on nothing I have seen thus far this season we will hand them a 20+ point loss. Simply optimism (waning optimism...)

I'll never pick against the Skins:

Skins:
Raiders:

If Pryor is out.....I may make a pick.

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread

I predicted a win in our first 3 games, and we lost them all. But this time is different. Washington runs away with it, 55-16. We finally get back to running the f****** football, our defense makes a few big plays in the redzone to take away scoring threats, and our special teams play solid with nothing spectacular.

RG3: 17-24, 265 yards, 2 TDs passing. 8-62 yards, 1 TD rushing.

Alfred Morris: 27-104, 2 TDs rushing.

Roy Helu, Jr: 9-37 rushing. 2-27 receiving.

Darrel Young: 4-10, 1 TD rushing.

Brian Orakpo gets his interception for a TD in this game. Our kicker makes 2 FGs. Baccari Rambo grabs an INT and forces a fumble.

Is Pryor hurt?

This defense has a terrible time containing mobile QBs, at least historically that's been the case. You'd think our D would be super against mobile QBs because they practice against one!! But it's been the opposite, and given the overall regression from last season it's hard to see that specific thing improving. Ugh.

Pryor took a shot late in the 4th and went out with a concussion. He appeared fine in post game interviews but has to go thru the NFL concussion protocol.

Fortunately for those who had OAK +16, Matt Flynn came thru with the late TD and a push. LOL.

That being said, Pryor appears to be improving with each game....while our D....well

27-24 Skins win, giving us a good feeling going into the bye.

We are going to absolutely ****ing smoke the Raiders! I honestly think we win this game by four touchdowns. We are a better damn team than them! HTTR!!!!!!!
Unfortunately that is the last easy game on the schedule and we finish the year 3-13.

Well the eagles and pack are 1-2. They both destroyed us. Detroit beat us and minnesota. They lost to arizona. We have one of the worst defenses in nfl history, and our offense has scored most of its points this year in junk time. If we arent officially horrible than there are no officially horrible teams in the league. I do not count the jaguars because - well just because.
Edit: not saying we cant turn things around, but if we do we can look back at these three weeks as an officially horrible time.

I would much rather have been 1-3 with a loss to the Raiders than any of our first 3 losses

Re: Redskins vs Raiders Pregame thread

All I know is that if the Redskins lose to the Raiders, I will be doing other things on Sunday's from here on out, as this season will offically be over before it ever began. The Redskins need to never be 4-0 in the preseason ever again. They got the big head.
