I agree, flying under the radar and kicking ass while other teams get the glory. See you all in NY on Feb. 2nd for the Danny mooning Mara at the SB.

A football life - Ladainian Tomlinson was fantastic, he was always one of my favorite players. Guy was a monster

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

Pretty curious to see how the Saints look in week 1. I have a feeling that offense is going to take it to whole new level. Sean Peyton has been scheming for a whole year and the weapons there are ridiculous. Defense is still highly suspect, though an average D is probably enough to make the saints contenders.

Some of the allegations seem like there should have been charges brought against a bunch of people if some of this stuff is true.

Their defense is just terrible though. They're constantly going to have to score 30 + a game. Rob Ryan has his hands full.

I used to pull for the Saints mainly b/c of Brees.

Now they have a Ryan in their midst ... blech. I hope the average score against them is 35 - just so I can listen to Ryan tell us how brilliant his schemes were.

Some good stuff on his AMA so far.

doggiedolphie: Hi Ross, since you played for both... Redskins or Cowboys?

RossTucker:Skins for sure. I wasn't with the Boys that long and didn't have a lot in common with those guys when I was there. A lot of them would go right to the strip club after practice and that wasn't my thing. It was cool to start for the Boys and wear that star on the side of my helmet but I started and finished my career with Washington so I'll go Skins

sighronic: Browns or..... Broadcasting...

RossTucker:Nice! Broadcasting. The Browns screwed me two years in a row. Broadcasting is pretty awesome.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1

I couldn't think of a better thread to put this in and it's not thread worthy on its own..

Anyone wondering what Clinton Portis is up to these days? Wonder no more...except what the hell the producers were thinking..

I used to work with Clinton's co-host and trust me, he was cringing as well.. That was painful. All it was missing was a canned rim-shot sound effect to push the cheese factor to the limit.

That was brutal. I think I'd rather watch a highlight collection of Randle El and Brandon Banks sideways returns than to see that again.

I'm a huge fan of Portis, but that was painful to watch, especially the last part. FAIL!
