Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
I agree, at least since Gibbs made his return. I think the excitement is do to the possibility to acquire a QB with talent we havent had in a long long time. Whether its Manning, RG3 or Luck, I feel the time is now to land one of them and the possibility to do so is real.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
Being a redskins fan we are used to these type of christmases, we all have high hopes and then end up with coal. We have drafted QB's before in the 1st round and never left them develop, either too quick to plug on them for the old vet or we switch the o-coordinator. I just hope if we get a young QB he is groomed and given a chance to develop.

Cooley? If it was D.Hall I wouldn't mind. Can't really think of anybody else though.
Unless *gasp* it's Helu or Hankerson.

I'll get killed for mentioning it but .... here goes... Fletcher? he was GW's boy and why he was brought to the Skins to help the rest of the defense learn the system. Trade Orakpo and Fletcher and trade #1's this year and what other picks to move up? |

Fletcher? How do you propose we trade someone who isn't under contract?

JK, I forgot he was a FA folks chill. I don't know maybe they ask us to get a contract done with Fletcher so he can be packaged with Orakpo and picks to them for us moving up to #2? It helps us, they get the two players they want, everyone is happy. Except me of course. Last edited by SBXVII; 02-25-2012 at 01:45 PM. |

That's actually really great news. Wow either the Incredible Hulk or.....D Hall I suspect..? Lot easier loss than Davis or Williams.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
NC Skins,
Since I didn't get to answer your question: Quote:
Colts-Luck- set in stone Browns-RGIII- Browns are infatuated and want him Vikes-Blackmon-Ponder needs help Rams-Kalil-Bradford needs protection Bucks-Claiborne-need secondary help Skins-Weeden I'm betting the Browns do whater it takes to get RGIII. Vikes need to give Ponder some offensive help. Rams need Kalil... didn't their LT retire? Bucks need Claiborne cause they will need to replace Rhonde Barber who supposedly retired or might come to the Skins. #3- Weeden at #6? I'm not a fan of this either. I would prefer they trade back and get more picks and take Weeden late first early second round. So again why at #6 because I keep hearing that Miami is interested in Weeden also. Miami picks 2 spots after us and I could see them taking him if they really want him as a back up to replace Henne. I have also heard how last year MS was interested in one of the QB's and figured that our spot was too high to draft him so we traded out and figured to pick him up late first or second round where he was slated to go and someone else took him. Rumor is MS was not happy about missing out. Couple that with the rumor that Miami might be interested in Weeden, then I could see MS thinking screw it I'll take him so we don't lose him. Keep in mind I'm still assuming the team is going out for a FA QB. I hope Flynn, but Manning if proven healthy and let go. |

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
I made a Manning uniform swap and a redskins wallpaper on my picturepush account if anyone is interested. I can't show it here because I don't have enough posts.
