Bengals how can they not? Look how bad they were this past year with Palmer and Ochocinco and all they've really done is replace those two with younger versions of their two star players. Their running back is a bruiser and vunerable to injury.

they play in the AFC North which is also why I have the Browns in the running. Plus Peyton Hillis is infected with the Madden Curse.

San Francisco I put up there because they have a college coach with no known QB. If they're going to compete Harbraugh needs to prove he's an offensive guru sooner rather then later. Plus their number one weapon Gore is a candidate to go down to injury.

Actually add the Bronco's. They have a barely 50% passer, no running game, and are in the process of rebuilding the defense.

OH crap LOL I thought u just said CONTENDER my bad.. Yeah totally agree with the top pick

If Colt McCoy doesn't pan out CLE has the ammo to pull the trigger on Luck too. They got hellva picks from that Julio trade.

Andrew Luck will be a Dallas Cowboy.

Not as crazy as you might think. ehehehe
Rob Ryan effect. Romo playing insecure due to the collarbone. Potential injuries on the O-line. Newman losing a step. Felix Jones getting injured.
It can happen.

Their WR corp is the only truly "sure" thing they can count on to have them avoid a disastrous season.

Sorry, never heard of the Rob Ryan effect. I thought he was a good defensive coordinator, please tell me he has some curse like Norville!! I was worried that Dallas picked his as their cord.

Re: 2011 Season & 2012 Draft

Random question for SS: has Snyder started searching for a new coach?

LaVar mentioned on his show today that he had reputable sources inside redskins park that snyder is so dissatisfied with shanahan that he has already started to talk to coaches... Any truth to that? If true, I'm going to be so pissed!

We'll see if it was mainly a lack of talent that did him in or if he played a significant role in the performances of his past Ds. I'm banking on the latter. hehehe

Apparently he asked Pat Bowen about Shanahan right in front of Zorn during the 2009 offseason so I guess it wouldn't be past him. Part of me highly doubts this is true, as we all know Lavar has a case of sour grapes, but if it is then it proves Snyder has learned absolutely nothing. Besides what reputable financially secure coach is going to coach the Redskins if Shanahan is fired prematurely. His transformation into a young-Old Al Davis would be virtually complete at that point.

For God's sake it was his fault that he signed Haynesworth to a $40 or $60 million contract and even a man with poor vision could see that McNabb was incapable of getting the job done (see outperformed by Rex Grossman).

I don't know why he would say that.

also, we don't know if there will be a draft & if there is if it will be the same format. If there's a lottery then any losing team could win the 1st pick.

I wouldn't put it past Snyder & JJ to start pulling out all the stops to trade up for Luck next year as well.

Honestly I think it is silly to try to predict the performance of any team given that we are not going to have an offseason for teams to prepare.

Re: 2011 Season & 2012 Draft

There will be at least 5 QB that could go on the 1st round next year, the skins will pick one of them:

Luck-Stanford
Foles-Arizona
Moore- Boise State
Barkley-USC
Jones-Oaklahoma
