Re: Our Injuries
No doubt, Clay Mathews getting hurt was the best thing that happened to our O-Line. But hay, that's the game...It's not our problem they lost their queen on the chessboard.

Re: Our Injuries
Speaking to the injury issue. If we had CP, if just for his pass blocking abilities, he qould have helped neutrilize at least some of the pass rush that the packers employed. In particular Clay Mathews.
So yes the injury front works both ways. If we have AH does that long run in the first happen? We can play the what if game all we want, but the fact is both teams got banged up ( happens alot in a game that was this violent ) and we won.

Re: Our Injuries
I can't say the oline is playing strong yet, especially by Shanny's historical standards. Hopefully we've got most of the personnel right and it's a matter of gelling together to make a dominant, all around unit. But right now, the run-blocking is sub-par at best and McNabb is hurried way too often.

Re: Our Injuries
I just kept thinking all day "Jason Campbell would have been sacked there..... Jason Campbell would have fumbled there....." McNabb's mobility and pocket presence is a great asset for this team. But I too wished the Skins would or maybe could have run the ball more in the second half. I think they just gave up on running all together and passed every down in the 2nd half. McNabb won't hold up if the Skins can't run it any better than that.

When i was watching the coin flip for OT and when the panned out and you could see Trent still on the ground, i thought thats it - were loosing the game and the seasons over. Lets hope Trent reinjuring his knee is better then time and Jammal Brown can come back asap.

Re: Our Injuries
Heyer does deserve his props but I'd like to see him be more consistent and not get so many drive killing penalties. He took a step in the right direction yesterday but I don't think I want to see him up against Freeney or Mathis.
EDIT: And that's really good news for Williams and Brown. Hopefully they'll be fine for next week. |

Re: Our Injuries
I'm still worried about depth at OT. Is Robinson or Capers ready to be called up?

Re: Our Injuries
Ain't that the truth. Teams are hating playing us. We're leaving a trail of wounded behind
