Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
Obviously to fill the void left by LenDale White, which is apparently a big void.

Julius Jones was released to make room for him.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
I don't think he's on their roster right now. But he's like their Marcus Mason (or I guess more recently, their Keiland Williams). One minute he's on the roster, the next he's cut, then he's back again, then cut again

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
Good thing that Lynch's name is not Marshawn Jackson...otherwise you'd have cause a riot here.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
I remember hearing people saying we should go after this guy prior to camp, would of been nice.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
So if Portis injury becomes pretty serious, should we pick up Julius Jones? The guy is only 29, but much less wear and tear. He can become our 2nd stringer and move ATV to be the first back.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
Still surprised that neither G.B. or Philly didn't get him...
He has to be better than Brandon Jackson for G.B. and with McCoys Rib injury,Lynch could really not only take a little pressure off of him in carrying the load, but Kolb as well. But I'm glad to he goes to a team we won't be playing. (at least in reg. season) Lynch may be uglier than sin,but I think he could still be a very affective RB.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
Packers have Kuhn. That's what real teams have. Depth. That's why they don't make panic trades. They don't really have to. That's also why I find ace's trade fetish --AND it IS a fetish-- annoying.

Re: Seahawks Trade for Marshawn Lynch
Not for the price. 3rd round draft picks can net guys like Jamaal Charles or Jermichael Finley. That's why you keep those picks.
