So, thats not what you said???? I'm an idiot? Know what comes out of your cock holster before blasting me for being an idiot.:tongue

On another note, I just think cutting him without ANY compensation is dumb. It might happen, but I sure hope it doesn't. He IS a good talent, and at this point, I hope we could get at least a 3rd rounder for him, or a decent WR. I think that the teams willing to offer that up are few and far between tho, so here is to hopin'.

Yes that is what I said. I though you said that I thought he was the best DT in the league..whatever mis understanding. Bottom line is he is not the best DT in the league. Not even close and when he's not on the field there is not a drop off. Cut our losses and time to move on.

Look, I know that everyone wants to take the hardline on this malcontent, and I understand that. But remember this..............

-Over 45 million dollars........repeat, 45 million dollars. What a tough pill to swallow, even for the free spending Snyder.

-Marketability = ZERO. Obviously noone wants the guy, we have been More than dangling him around as trade bait, and not even a nibble.

-Talent = High. If, and this is a big IF, but IF Shanahan can get this guy to literally get with the program, and he could conceed just a little bit of ground and offer somewhat of an olive branch and just start over, the rewards could be sky high. Its all about ego, and if Shanahan is serious about a title, then doing it with Haynesworth will be alot easier.

A motivated and content Haynesworth is desirable, and if anyone can get him to play, its Shanahan.

I think your 2nd and 3rd points are the most relevant. I still wish we could have done a three way deal with seattle and sd but AH has pretty much ruined his value in this league. As for the money, tough patooties to Snyder. He signed the contract (albeit in good faith) and if he has to write it off then that's that, that's part of the cost of getting this franchise headed in the new (hopefully right) direction. After Saturday's speech by AH, I doubt there is any reconciliation with MS possible. And MS didn't leave any doubt or wiggle room for AH to go through this season half-assing it as he has been accused of doing in the past.

Somebody, maybe Fletcher?, needs to take AH out and tell him he needs to shut up, get with the program, and help this team win. If it hasn't happened yet, I doubt it will going forward.

see this is where i think you're wrong. it doesn't matter how talented a guy is. if he's not motivated and doesn't take his profession seriously then so what? even players from other teams call the guy out for not playing hard. so to me he's just an average player who has talent but holds it hostage cause he's lazy.

If they cannot reel him in, I am confident Bruce will unload him. I am sure they have Carte Blanche to ditch him "at will" but would like to salvage as much as possible if he cannot be turned from the dark side........

Awww...I am disappointed Albert wasn't allowed to feel good about himself. It's not right....it's not fair!

AH should not be cut. Then he gets what he wants (freedom) and we get nothing.

AH should be traded only if we can get something decent for him. Otherwise, he should be left to rot on the bench a la Lavar Arrington.

If he continues to use his mouth as a distraction, then he should be suspended, a la Keyshawn Johnson.

Shanny has done all of the right things. You can't let one player be bigger than the team.

I agree Lotus, but the big question is when is enough enough? Shanny should just hit the mute button(meaning ignore AH and his BS) with regards to AH and let him just screw around with the 2 string for the rest of his contract here. Sooner or later AH is going to wise up that we aren't going to release him and the longer he screws around the less likely any teams will want him once his contract with us is up. I wouldn't call this guy a pussy since he could beat my ass into the ground, but he definitely doesn't want to work. The guy is one lazy bastard!!!!

And so the pendulum swings again. I'm not going to give a damn because it will keep on swinging.

Maybe he should take Glen Coffee as an example for himself and listen to his inner voice. But well, that probably just tells him "Lunch can be eaten five times a day"

Trade him for Vincent Jackson if possible and get it over with. Jackson is rumored to be going to Seattle and has been allowed to negotiate with them, so let's beat that deadline.

SD is not going to make that deal. He doesn't fit their 3-4 scheme.

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game

Haynesworth is lazy. He doesn't want to work. That's why he skips training camp, and that's why he only plays about 25% of the time. In any other business this guy would have been fired a long, long time ago. I want to cut him, but I agree with Lotus in that we'd essentially be caving to his demands. So, they should find a way to suspend him for the rest of the season, or as long as they can. I'm so fed up with Haynesworth. Dude is a gigantic pussy.
