Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
This is great to hear... its really important for them to develop any type of familiarity with each other as they can before training camp... I cannot wait for camp to open up and see how this team starts to come together!

Now, would a rookie QB picked first by us in the first round make three years down the road for "rebuilding" come up with this?

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
Great to hear that McNabb is asserting himself as the leader of this team. Combined with the fact that main players within the Redskins offense will not only be working together and building chemistry, but will be competing against the likes of Revis, this should have a, not definite, but significant impact on our performance come the regular season.
I just hope that Cooley, Portis, and Davis accept his invites too.

Nice to see that Devin and Malcolm are enthusiastic about working out with Donovan. Those guys do have the potential to be great ballers for us if they work hard and really strive to improve their game. To me if they don't deliver for us, it is going to set back the rebuilding effort back a few seasons.

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
The big reason this is such good news is that it gives these guys a head start on learning the new offense together. We're going into a season of major major change, which usually means huge adjustments with spotty results. But this gives them a head start.
Just please nobody get hurt!

Hint:the strategy to getting Ovechkin vs. the strategy of milking Tatum Bell for all of trade value worth.

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
I know I am loving news like this. Having a guy like Donovan leading this group is so awesome for me. I have always admired DM as a player and I enjoy having a guy with his work ethic leading this squad. Like others have said JC was a good guy and all, but he could not get this group to perform. I know it is only July but having guys like Tana, DT, and Malcom travelling out there a week before 2 a days is just awesome. It is a show of dedication to this up coming season and it may be another step in getting this team back to relavance in the NFC.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! Because : damn it they deserve it just for all the work they have put in this offseason. I know we will see it on the field come september.

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
Great to see Moss as a 31 year old veteran go out there. Hope he does *something* this year. I've had such hopes for him, only to see him have just 2-3 good games per year. So goes the careers of short fast WR's as their speed goes away..
Does anyone know why the heck they pick Arizona? Why make it a "hell week" when they could rent a stadium in San Diego and practice in sunny 70 degree temperatures.. It's not like it's going to be 112 degrees when they play football September to January... Only thing I can think of is to prepare them for training camp in DC, but... why? ps. GREAT to hear Revis out there with them. A great corner to practice against! (and we don't play him this year -- unless...) |

Re: Redskin Wideouts to join McNabb in Arizona for "hell week"
I'm glad they're working together but I'm pissed our QB/WR never did things like this in the past...why the heck aren't Davis/Cooley participating?
No wonder McNabb was able to win with mediocre receivers...they were on the same page.
