Of the linemen that I have looked over, he seems to be the best fit in the 4th round range. There will be some sleeper guys available in the 5th and later, but who knows anything about them? The team could also look at RB or Defense for a 4th rd selection. I just hope the team has their good scouting goggles on because we need multiple picks to be productive this year. |

According to profootballweekly magazine, it says that Veldheer never gave up a sack in college while he started at Hillsdale. I'm taking their word over Tripps

Absolutely. I really like the way he plays football. I, for one, didn't mention him because I was thinking that we'd probably be able to get Okung at #4 and we don't have another pick until the 4th round. Now, if we trade down from #4, I'd definitely like to see the Skins pick Charles Brown.

Really, everyone after Bulaga is a prospect of some sort. And because I have Anthony Davis ranked ahead of Bulaga, who is definitely a project, most of the first round tackles come with a developmental curve. At least compared to those of the last two years.

Re: Right Tackle prospect to look for in the 4th round.
I would be fine if they draft Capers in the 4th round. He is a top 100 ranked player according to most draft sites, he fits the scheme as a zone blocker, and has the ability to play multiple line positions.
Fox does have an irregular heartbeat, and it was serious enough that he missed at least one game. I also read where he had to have extensive testing done at the combine, and then get tested again. If Fox is there in the 4th, and we don't take him, then we should conclude that he has too much risk. He has been ranked as a top 50 player most of last year. |

Call me unpopular but I'll take Tony "Joe Dirt" Washington if he's there in the 4th.

Re: Right Tackle prospect to look for in the 4th round.
Sadly theres a long list of people in the NFL who have done worse then Tony Washington. I could get on board with us drafting him, but it would take a few weeks.

Agree, I think he would be more motivated to be a better player cause he's got to know what people are thinking/saying about him it can only make you stronger. |

Re: Right Tackle prospect to look for in the 4th round.
I can't get on board with drafting Tony Washington in the 4th round or drafting him at all. Beside the public relation nightmare that would ensue, his level of competition was far inferior than most every other draftable player. He may not even get drafted, or at least not until the 6th round.
Everyone deserves a 2nd or 3rd chance, but let him wait until the draft is over before giving it to him. The full story may even be worse then we know, and we just don't need that kind of distraction in my opinion. Signing him as an Undrafted Free Agent is more palatable to me at least, and allows the few valuable draft picks the team has to be used more judiciously. |

Circon Black RT from LSU, would be a pretty good pick in Round 4

Re: Right Tackle prospect to look for in the 4th round.
Sam Young could be there at four and I think he would be an outstanding talent for RT
