I like this move too. Wilson should be much more well suited for OLB in a 3-4. This is one guy that needs to take his game to the next level.

^ I agree. Although the switch to the 3-4 may marginalize Carter and/or Jarmon, I think it is a defense in which Wilson can thrive.

Re: Chris Wilson signs with Redskins

Anyone remember the uproar when we first signed Wilson? lol it was a classic thread.

I've searched high and low for that thread, Smootsmack you're the master of digging up old threads can you see if you can find it? I think he signed back in Jan of 2007.

Yeah I can find it in 5 seconds, except I'm pretty sure it's in Thread Hell so I'm not sure who can see those but here you go

Ahhh I forgot to look in thread hell, thanks for digging it up

Some classic PSF up in there... gotta wonder why he's not around anymore. Even Wilson outlasted him, how sweet is that?!

<<sigh>> A thread that deserves its place in hell and an unfortunate reminder of how a moron brought out the worst in me.

Good Lord Joe!!! I hope Wilson gets a legitimate shot at OLB in the 3-4. He can rush the QB and that would be playing to his strength. It's going to be very interesting to see the scheme used to fit the personnel instead of the personnel forced into the scheme.

Now I know why we didn't sign Karlos Dansby or Larry Foote. Wilson is clearly the answer at LB! :smashfrea

It's a shame that ALL CFL'ers are a step slower.

Yeah, definately happy about that. He'll be a solid performer for a while. Along with London.

That was some funny stuff. I can't believe I didn't get an America Jr or 51st state comment in there. Maybe I was banned then!
