This sucks. Although he's never been injury prone, and said he's a fast healer. I predict he won't miss more than a game or two (knocking on wood). They caught it fast and dealt with it fast. I have a good feeling he'll be just fine and wreaking havoc in offensive backfields very soon.

(A positive mind-set is imperative to fast healing, so I'm just doing my part for JT )

Let's hope so. That injury in week one at first glance looked like it was career ending and he was back for the next game. Taylor is an incredible athalete and usually these guys heal a lot faster than others.

We have been through so much as a team. If another star player (named Taylor) died I would not know what to do

Damn, when I first heard about it, the MSM made it out to be just a one week thing, now it obviously appears to have been a lot worse. Hope he recovers quick and can play say the last 5-6 games. That stretch is going to make us or break us probably in terms of playoffs.

Since afterwards we have a strech against the Rams, Browns, and Lions. I guess that this is the worst and best time for JT to be out.
Once again we'll be fine. Thats the beauty of drafting and building a depth chart.

Taylor Departs -- Ever So Slowly

Jason Taylor just left the building, and it was not a pretty sight. Taylor's left leg remains in a boot and he was walking with a cane, ever so gingerly and looking nothing like a stud NFL defensive end. Taylor was moving toward his car, finished for the day at Redskins Park, it would seem, and had a team employee carrying some boxes for him.

I am not a doctor and I am not basing this next opinion on medicine or science. Going strictly by observation, anyone who watched Taylor lurch out of the building would find it hard to believe that this is a man who is going to be on a football field any time soon. It was a striking scene.

Re: Jason Taylor Could Have Died; May Be Out for Months

I am more than optimistic about Demetric Evans and Chris Wilson handling this position. The main reason the Redskins have kept all three opponents scoreless in the fourth quarter is because of the rotation of DE's and DT's. Demetric Evans is a solid DE and will definitely give Dallas problems. Chris Wilson had a big game last year and should be fine. Let's just hope Stephen Heyer is able to go. I don't know about Jon Jansen.

i think that if heyer cant go, there is nobody id rahter have than jansen for starters..hes experienced. on top of that im tired of trading for unproductive, injury plagued veterans..ala deion, archuletta, bruce smith, brandon lloyd...the list goes on.
I think it is time for erasamus to shine personally

Well this is the first game JT has missed in like 131 games. Injuries are unprediactable.
