Re: Brandon Jacobs comment on Landry
When Jacobs ran over Landry, I put my hand over my face and said "damn it, that's going to be on the highlights all season long". For Jacobs to say something like that, not only do I understand, I expect it. Landry is a GOOD player, it's not like he's some 7th round project, I'd be proud of the hit too. In fact, every last one of us would be!

Re: Brandon Jacobs comment on Landry
when sellers bowls over dawkins it doesnt get nearly as much replay time, oh well LL did get tattoed. Theres been many of times in college lax where a guy had a head of steam on me and i knew i was about to get run over but if your hard you meet them head on, no ducking or trying to get an angle on him. . . . it happens if your a hard hitter, some times you win sometimes you lose just depends on who has the momentum. i think LL knew he was about to get the worst but still stuck his head in there anyway and met him head on and for that he gets BIG TIME RESPECT.

The only thing LL can do is suck it up and look for revenge next time out against NY.

Re: Brandon Jacobs comment on Landry
i actually think this is good for the skins-giants rivalry, its been kinda flat since the days of the dave megget/phil simms era (man that was a sweet time for the nfc east!). . . . . and jacobs and landry should see alot of each other over the next 7 plus years.

Re: Brandon Jacobs comment on Landry
Reggie Bush better hope Dirty 30 doesn't get a good hit on him or it could be injury city.

Sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield. But at least he kept his composture and grabbed his leg enough for him to go down.

I was just thinking that Brandon Jacobs in the end did not score any TDs against our defense. I mean we gave up a lot of yards that resulted in those 16 points, but he never got to endzone. I wouldn't be too proud of a performance like that. Great, so you ran over a player several pounds lighter than you, but did you get to endzone? No? Well then stop talking.
