Desean Jackson looks good!
It's amazing how much separation he gets from DBs

Then again, The Rams look dead.

Hard to tell if the iggles are that good or the rams really suck but mcnabb looks damn sharp today.

The Eagles have had WRs running wide open all day

I think the Rams are just really bad. Their O-line is horrible and they jumped offsides about 10 times. Not to mention the Rams secondary is not covering anyone.

The Steelers are pounding the Texans.

I'm gonna have to agree.

Without Brady the Patriots offense is very ordinary all of a sudden.

The rams offense is horrible.

I guess their ProBowl QB is having a hard time trying to figure out Our ExCordinators 700 page playbook.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

The Patriots look worse than ordinary with Brady out. I don't think I fully realized the brilliance of Brady until seeing someone else run the offense. And it's against the Chiefs defense, not exactly what I'd call even an average defense.

Alright people, help me out here on the rule change for kickoffs...

I know teams can now defer until the second half. If the coin toss winner elects to defer to the 2nd half, who kicks off in the 1st?

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Eagles vs. Rams
The Eagles look good, but the Rams are terrible. The Eagles have always had a good defense, so add a healthy McNabb along with Westbrook, they're going to pound a team like the Rams.

Ravens vs. Bengals.
Joe Flacco is looking good out there. Although I must say that the Bengals are a bit of a mess. This game could go either way.

Jets vs. Dolphins
Dolphins are looking like crap out there. I see another losing season for them. Jet Favre is playing well.

Atlanta vs. Lions
Atlanta has amazed me a bit, I didn't think they had it in them. Then again it is against the Lions.

Pats vs. Chiefs
I never wish an injury on a player, but Belichick and the Patriots had it coming. I mean after a whole season of running up the score on teams, keeping Brady in during meaningless games, and sulking around at the entire NFL, I think its karma finally coming to bite them in the ass.

I think our WRs need to look at the tape from this game, and hopefully learn how to get open.

It's not the Eagles WRs getting open it's the Rams secondary blowing coverage like it's going out of style.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Holy shit! Joe Flacco just had a long run for a TD. Man the Bengals have hit an all time low when a rookie QB is beating you in the air and on the ground. Ugh, now I'm going to have to deal with all the Ravens fans talking about this all week.

It then becomes the coin toss losers choice, 99.9% of the time they will take the ball, since the team deferring will take the ball to start the 2nd half.
