I've been following Brennan since Mater Dei high school when he backed up Matthew Leinart. I'm not wishing no harm on anyone but I see big things for Colt. As for Campbell I'm still not sold on him all that much. He can play but i don't see him leading us to the promised land.

He needs to develop, there's a reason why he was picked up during the later rounds and not on the first or second round. It looks like he will have a bright future, and that is good for our team. However, this team has invested a lot on JC to just give up on him.

He doesn't need to take us to the promised land, just to Tampa or Dallas or.........

What have we invested in Jason Campbell if you don't mind me asking?

A first round draft pick for starters.

Redskins gave up three picks, including a first-rounder to move up in the draft to get Campbell. Given how much we have valued draft picks this past year, I would say that's a lot of investment to give up on him and turn our offense over to a rookie Qb. We might as well be in rebuilding mode if we do that.

Not to mention roughly a possible 8 Mil. I believe that he has already gotten at leat 4 Mil. from a roster bonus.

Oh and time and effort and lost opportunity to go in another direction. I'd say a lot.

Okay i knew we moved up to get him i justed didn't know how much..But the question i ask you is do you think Jason Campbell can do it...Honestly i know we're fans and all but lerts face reality. Campbell doesn't even make my top eight in the league as far as qb's are concerned.

Yes, Jason Campbell CAN and WILL do it. I've yet to see anything from Campbell that would suggest he's not top 10.

Watch him go this season, this scheme will suit him and his new collection of WR's just fine.

Exactly.

It's hilarious to see people question JC, but on the other hand are so convinced that an unproven rookie is somehow the answer. Simply retarded.

Re: Colt getting some time at #2?

This thread was not intented to question JC and his future as a starter. He's improved greatly every season and i see this season as an improvement as well. CB is not going to dethrone JC anytime soon and most likely is not going to dethrone TC for the backup.

It would be great if CB turns into a nice player as you can never have enought talent on a team. Then it gives you options. Annointing CB as a starter in this league is very much premature.
