its impossible to really predict an exact number. because some games are evenly played and could go either way.

Like the rest of the people on the board, I think that the Redskins could win 8,9, or 10 games. 11 is wishful thinking.. maybe next year.

Lavar Arrington and Laveranues Coles conspire with Ladamian Tomlinson to form a separate "super" league composed solely of athletes whose name begins with "La".

I am going to be conservative and say better than last year. lol
I think without this coaching staff we could go 8-8. With this staff I think it adds 2 more wins. So 10-6. It also varies how fast they can buy into the system and dont get into any ruts or loosing streaks. I guess I can't expect too much this year, but would beating the Cowgirls twice be asking too much? I think the line although will miss Jansen will be fine, even if they have to rotate a new tackle in each quarter.

OK I honestly make this prediction. It hangs in my office since they haven't been beaten this year yet.

16-0

When they have there 1st losss then my prediction will go to 15-1. I believe they will win and win again. If you all care to make predections which games do you think they will lose??

i'll go with 9-7 worst case but thinking 10-6 or better... coles, arrington, washington, portis, and smoot make pro bowl as primaries or alts, and taylor makes rookie of the year with about 2 billion picks... portis hits 1600 yds and 600 receiving, mccants and thrash show up for the important catches when needed...

hows that for optimism? no use hoping for a crappy year...

I think the start of the season we stugle as the O and D find thier feet. Only big play abillity of Portis, Arrington, McCants, Smoot and Taylor keep us competitive . Later on coaching spirit and excecution play a huge part and we have a good run down the stretch.

The X factor this year is Gibbs. Teams are closer inb terms of talent than in Gibbs first eara, and witrh the right schemes and adjustements nobody is going to be overlooking the Skins this time around and if we are not in the the playoff hunt we will certianly be in the spoiler role.

My predictions for the upcoming season are as follows:

1. Meadow will get knocked up. Her hippie boyfriend/fiance then will get knocked off.

2. A.J. will blow down the closet door. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

3. Carmela will pick up a nasty little smack habit and will be in a constant near zombie-like condition. She will be so inebriated that she will be completely and totally unable to bitch and moan the entire episode. Not really a prediction, but sounds good, doesn't it?

4. Dr. Melfi will finally come to her effing senses and run like the wind.

5. Paulie Walnuts will finally meet his maker when the Russian commando he lost in the Pine Barrens accidently runs into him with his car in the Piggly-Wiggly parking lot. Equally embarrassing, this happens just after Paulie finishes buying Depends for his ma.

6. Silvio, feeling the heat coming, will ditch for Mexico and offer protection for roughly 62.8% of all donkey show establishment owners in the three northern states of Chihuahua, Sonora, and the nothern Baja peninsula.

7. Junior will enjoy the pleasures of twice daily sponge baths by comely young lasses. Unfortunately, he won't remember a lick of it.

8. Adrianna and Chrissy will run away together and live happily ever after after she tells him about how she betrayed him and about the information she's been giving to the FBI and the wire she wore.

Or, maybe not.

9. And finally, Good 'Ole Tony. He'll get whacked in the final episode. Sad, ironic, a damn good thing for Jersey, prophecy fulfilling, call it what you will, but it's going to happen. Before you get pissed for me telling you this, be realistic. It's not like we didn't know it wasn't coming.

Click this link if you want the ultimate spoiler to find out who does him in.

Oh, and the Skins? 16-0, baby!

Duh.

9-7 is also my best bet
I assume Brunnell will start but Ramsey will take over around midseason
Portis will be the man !!!!
LB's will make a good threat to every QB we will play
and kick the Cowboys a... twice in a season will be a wonderful experience.
