1- Snyder and Lavar will want to make money off it.
2- We WILL get another LB, likely before Lavar would be signed, so #56 is sitting around waiting to be taken.
3- #56 is popular among LB's.
4- Less likely, but the way Lavar's tenure ended, I doubt he would want to be connected to that with the same number.

I like the enthusiasm from a fan, but seriously, the odds are slim to none here.

The chances of LaVar coming back are slim to none.

He is 29 and, maybe he's not done. Comcast is replaying the post game show, Lavar says it at the end. It is coming soon.

His knees are those of a 60 year old, and if he wasn't done, he'd be playing right now.

He tore his achillies tendon, thats why he is not playing now. Not to mention he got in a bad motorcycle accident and broke his leg.

Well, obviously there is no convincing you that it's a 99.9999999999% probability that he won't be back, so I'll let this die.
Good luck, I hope you get your wish.

Time to move forward, not backward.

I'm all for second chances. If the guy has anything left in the tank and wants to play in washington, I'd be happy... He did have excellent football instincts. I know he didn't fit GW's system, but GW re-worked his system in order to let his guys make plays, because he felt him hindering his players is one of the reasons they finished so low last year.... I think he could probably take Godfrey's place, and Mcintosh may not be back next year.

Maybe it wouldn't be moving backward... maybe it would be like bringing Smoot back...

Re: Lavar In 2008

I think Rocky's knees, with a torn ACL and MCL in one of them, are in better physical condition than Lavar's at this point.

Re: Lavar In 2008

If you bring him back, you sign him to a minimum and use him as a situational player, if he shows that he can still play (you never know he's been out for 1.5 years) Maybe all that rest helped him heal some? Who knows, only a tryout will tell us. He'll also have to kiss the FO ass to mend that bridge.

Re: Lavar In 2008

Lavar does not have cartilage in one of his knees anymore. The body does not heal this condition. So the only thing Lavar's body has done during his 18 months of downtime is get fat.
