Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
there are several that you could make a case for but I gotta say the D. look at what they did to the cowboys. franchise record for fewest yards in a game. I don't think they converted a 3rd down.

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
The D was dirty. Portis came up big...loved how he played...was upset about the fumble, but bounced back well.

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
Doug Williams was our backup in '87, got playing time early when Jay Schroeder injured his shoulder, and took over as starter again late in the season when Schroeder was ineffective. I shouldn't need to remind you how that season ended up ;-)

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
Seriously, our defense is playing as good as I've seen it in Gibbs II. Dating all the way back to the Tampa game, they've just been awsome. So I'll go with them, keeping Dallas out of the endzone.

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
the capitol defence had a huge game. moss has been a cowboy killer since he's been here. congrats to portis the only 100 yard rusher against dallas all year. and collins what can you say this is his team now. you gotta give game balls to everyone today. from the coaches to the players. total TEAM effort. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
Voted for Collins. $hit, before Collins started, when was the last time we hit a receiver in stride for a TD. Two years ago?!! Unbelievable play at QB - something we haven't witnessed since 1991. Collins is MVP for us this year, despite seeing the field in only 3.5 games. He has led us to the 4 wins that we needed.

The D is driving the bus right now. Our O is doing well but the D looks nasty.

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
The D...courtesy of Sean Taylor. Side note: My wife went through some things in storage during the holidays and uncovered some old bumper stickers we obtained back when we lived in Annapolis. They were some old "HailSkins" stickers by WTEM radio with a black background. God knows how old they are (10-15 yrs.?), but after tonights game I promptly, and proudly, placed one on my rear windshield to parade all over Atlanta the next week...and beyond! Man, never think that our team cannot overcome anything.

Re: Redskins/Dallas MVP
D has been lights out. Just DOMINATED--first Minn with the best run attack and now dallas. And the pass rush has been there. And the TOs from the CBs--Springs has been fantastic.
As Gibbs says: Your defense leads you.
