Re: Very proud of the team today even in a loss

Tough break, but this is a learning experience for Jason and overall a good thing. JC is our qb, and now we can move toward filling out the rest of our team. It's not as depressing as it could have been, but they made plays and we didn't, which is why they're 9-1 and we're 5-5. Moral victories suck though...

They will probably be resting their starters by that point

That was a hell of a game!

Skins had a chance to win the ballgame towards the end.

Good Team Effort, let's see what happends at Fed Ex.

If there was ever a thing such as a 'good loss' this was it..

We saw the future of the Redskins offense in Jason Campbell.. I have NO problem with Campbell throwing 40+ times a game, the pass will open up the running game.. He's a beast waiting to happen, just let him play.. This should be the blueprint for how the offense is run the rest of the season..

We've seen how much we miss Taylor and need another playmaker develop on defense.. Landry has shown flashes, he needs to develop consistency and increase his big plays and I think he will.. Someone is going to have to step up and close out games for us down the stretch.. Grilliams star continues to fade quickly, seems like last year was a foreshadowing of who really are on defense..

Those being said, I am more encouraged after today's game against a VERY GOOD opponent on the road..

You all may read this game as a prelude for Campbell's success in the future. I do not. It could easily be his signature for future such losses. Missed the open man for a touchdown and consistently threw behind his receivers. If the Cowvomits don't play prevent defense, we're not even having this conversation to begin with.

I don't think there is a question that we will win. Dallas has a good shot of having home field on a lock by then.

News flash: when you're down by multiple scores in the 4th, EVERY DOWN "the game is on the line" and Jason made one mistake out of how many huge 3rd down conversions and one MASSIVE 4th down convert?

If you're going to bag on the kid for trying to make something happen there, you need to give him credit for the 12 play, 74 yard drive he led the drive before, because the game was very much "on the line" during that drive as well.

If our entire secondary isn't in shreds, and Springs was able to cover TO just once, you're not even posting that utter wad of dingo's kidneys, either.

Well you're definitely in the minority on this one, even amongst the haterades. For myself, I'm very encouraged by how the Redskins played today. The absence of Sean Taylor is what lost the game for us today, but Jason Campbell has finally arrived. Like what someone else said earlier, this should be the blueprint for how our offense works down the stretch and in the future.

Even without Sean Taylor, I do believe this team can go 5-1 down the stretch.

Everyone,

I understand you don't like my opinion. Heck...I hate my opinion. I hate myself for having it. Self-loathing aside, Campbell is not a lock and we, as a team, can easily finish 1-5 instead of 5-1. That's where we are right now. Rightly or wrongly. Justly or unjustly.
