People forget that if there was no Gibbs the Redskins would be another shitty team without an identity or character. Gibbs is the Redskins, I get pissed when people criticize him. Who else won a superbowl or brought glory to the team? Pardee, Spurrier, Norv, Shottenheimer? Gibbs is like Moses in the 10 commandments, who went to get the tablets and then the people turned against him and became impatient cause he was gone for a while and then created the golden calf. He then got pissed when he saw what happened after he came back and kicked some ass on the non-believers.

Although this is a strange idea...hugging him, I do see and appreciate the idea behind the hugging.

I'd rather buy him breakfast or at least a coffee, shake his hand and thank him for all of the great Redskins memories and for being one of the best men in football, character-wise.
