I just think we need to get the run game going and from what i have seen Fabini is far and away the weak link when it comes run blocking, why cant DeMulling get on the field?
good question. Sounds like Fabini can pass block & Demulling can run block, but I guess it's too tough to sub o linemen like that.

Both are guys that were cut in the offseason so they're not exactly starting material anyway.

I don't think this is accurate--JLC and Gibbs himself didn't report it, and Gibbs had a list of those not practicing. So if it's anything more than a typo on the skins.com roster, it's not injury related.

The good news is Rabach and Washington went full-go today.

Yup. get a back up guard and tackle in FA then draft #1 for DE then alternate OL /WR / OL / WR .....serious.

As long as we are getting off topic and talking about the draft ... wouldn't it be sweet to have Chris Long? That dude is a total beast! But I guess that would mean the Skins were picking towards the top of the draft so I'll have to defer the dream. Wahoo Wa nonetheless.

Re: Wade out? DeMulling to start at RG

Man,
Something has to change, Fabini stunk at guard and Wade is somewhat weak at RT.
Remember DeMulling came in late and probably didn't even have the plays down last week. It could be that he is better than Fabini.

We cant go wrong for trying DeMulling at RG.
Hell, if he's ok, maybe we put Heyer in at RT...I doubt they would make both changes in 1 week though.
If healthy, I'd expect DeMulling at RG and Wade at RT (pure speculation)

After all....somethings gotta change....either that or we become a passing team.

what about Mike Pucillo for RG?
Maybe we could put him there....or does he stink too?
The way I remember it, he didn't do too well at center.

Will the best RG pa-leeze stand up?

I also think the backs are somewhat to blame for this lack of a running game. The offensive line isn't creating gaping holes, but even when there is a hole, Portis isn't making anyone miss. Betts has been playing better of late, but he's still only hovering around 3 YPC for the season, which is crap.

We are past 2nd string. These guys are reacting to an impossible situation and lets maintain some perspective.

Actually, this was the same projected starting lineup before the Cardinals game as well. I was going to bring it up, but didn't feel like it.

Next week I'm thinking of mentioning that the Redskins have fired Norv Turner

Anyhow, latest depth chart has Fabini at RG, Wade at RT
