Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

Every time I pick the 'Skins to lose, they end up winning. It's like a kiss of death for the other team or something. So with that in mind:

Washington: 23
Giants : 17

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

this game is going to test us.. their backs are against the wall, they will come at us with everything they got, i think its going to be a hard game for us but we will win.. hopefully we can remember that they beat us the last 3 games and that should be a big motivation for the skins to make a statement along the lines of NO more, not this year, and not in our house.

redskins 24
giants 20

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

Redskins open up with 3 touchdowns on their first 3 drives en route to a 34-9 beat down of the Giants.

The Defense forces 4 turnovers and sacks Eli Manning 6 times.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Redskins 34
Giants 10
I think this will be a coming out party for the WR’s and the D will step up and create big problems for the G-Men.

I usually try not to fall into sandtrapjack's trap because of the trap's difficult lie, but I like his pick, and I like the score.

It's going to be awful, and it will be the beginning of the end of the Skins promising season, and Gibbs second go 'round.

Giants 24
Skins 16

We will lose Campbell, Betts and Rabach to injuries.

What kind of prediction is that?? Are you going to be watching the game with a voodoo doll in hand?

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

I agree with someone else who said they are more scared of this game than New England, because so am I....all I know is going into Philadlephia last week I was really really confident, and this week I'm very nervous....I think we'll win, somthing like 24-16, but If we blow this game somehow, I wont be suprised at all.....

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

For everyone scared of the skins not taking this game seriously and coming out flat:

I just watched Portis' interview on redskins.com tv and he said it all:

"Any time we get ahead of ourselves and look past [the next opponent], it never falls through. Being that every year at this same time the Giants are in the same situation and we're sort of in the same situation, they come in and dominate us."

He went on to say that the past couple years the whole Giants organization was fighting with each other and seemed out of sync and that they would come and beat us badly and finally get their season started. So its important to come out an beat them while they're down.

So it seems like the coaches are probably stressing the importance of this game to the players, and that we're gonna come out playing pretty hard to make up for the past couple years and to rub the Giants faces in the dirt to make sure they aren't a threat down the line. With that in mind:

Giants-16
