I'll be in the car at 7:30 am on Sunday so I can get my tailgate on. 36 hours for me!

Re: F... Two days before redskins season opener

g.d. I want today and tomorrow to be over with. I can't stand teh waiting lol, I just haven't seen a meaningful football game in so long it's painful. The last game I missed was in Dec. 2004 because I was down in Flow'da and they were broadcasting the Tampa Bay game instead of Skins-Girls. I remember opening day last year, that Sunday I was watching all these games and all I could think about is wishing that we played on Sunday at 1 pm. Every year these last few days before the season starts is excruciating. God i'm so friggin pumped up.

Re: F... Two days before redskins season opener

Quite possibly the best f...thread! One that every single person on this site can easily relate to. I got super excited like Tuesday and have been a pain the arse to my coworkers (Bears fan and a Broncos fan) ever since. The rest don't like football that much (IT dept). Tomorrow I'm taking my kid hiking to pass the day until college football starts. Hopefully that will temporarily stave off my cravings for Redskins football.

@smootsmack : yeah I quit and I think I'm done with the car business altogether... I may write a book or something... its been a long ride and it drains your soul...
when I was at leesburg it wasn't bad, but going to culpeper was quite an experience... they were the most backwoods underhanded dirt-lot maggots ive ever seen... it was unbelievable.

I've been doing this pretty much my whole life and I don't ever remember the anticipation being as unbearable as it is this year. There's something in the air I tells ya. Does anybody else actually pace back and forth during the games like I do? It really is insane.

Haha yeah, I've been known to walk up to the tv pointing and screaming...and then I chest-bump the television

But actually, 90% of the time I'm rather stoic.

I'm pumped about this game, but trying to temper my excitement.

I only pace at the most important times of the games, like when we need a first down on 4th and 6 with under 2 minutes left on the clock and we're on the opponents 37 yard line down by 2. But after a big play I am usually very vocal, bad words following a negative big play but positive words following a good one.

I get kind of like Dennis Hopper in Hoosiers. You know the scene where he's in the hospital drying out and he's ranting on to the nurse about how this is the most amazing thing in the history of high school basketball? It's exactly like that except the rant is all in my head.

That's called love ! HA ! I do get my fart game up though ! I forgot to mention the nacho's with cheese and salsa. It's a routine, my tradition. She should understand......shouldn't she ?

SHE MUST ! In her vows she said that she would "share in my dreams, even if they are the Redskins going to the Super Bowl" ! That's right I have it on tape ! DAMN I LOVE HER !

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS !!!!!

Re: F... Two days before redskins season opener

At least I got my LSU Tigers playing the V tech hokies to hold me over tomorrow a big day of college football and then a big Sunday party for the opening Sunday. We better freaking win or I will stick my tongue on the grill like on the A-1 commerical.

When I said we better win I was reffering to the Skins I know that LSU will win.

Re: F... Two days before redskins season opener

So I think I am gonna miss the freaking game. This sucks so hard right about now. I have to find someone to tape it for me, and somehow avoid anyone who is talking about it.
