Re: Bengals Ink Marshall
I knew he wasn't going to be on the market long. Still think it was a mistake and a gamble letting him go for Godfrey, but what is done is done. Lemar was one of the guys I wish could have retired a Skin.

Re: Bengals Ink Marshall
i agree. Marshall still must have some injury issues. played 2 spots pretty solid for the skins.

Anyway, as far as Lemar to the Bengals: good for him. He's a guy who did everything the Skins could have asked him and it basically ended up getting him cut. While I don't think he's a starter in this league he is definitely a good guy to have on the team because he is so versatile. I never liked the idea of him moving inside, but he was adequate. Unfortunately, it seemed to me that he bulked up in order to move inside and, when he moved back outside, he looked a whole slower. I think he's best served in a reserve role, but I'd take him in as my 4th linebacker any day of the week. All that said, I like the Godfrey addition. |

Re: Bengals Ink Marshall
Someone on ESPN radio said today that Trotter's knees are practically bone-on-bone. Curtis Martin type wear and tear.
Somebody might pick him up, but I'm not going to be surprised if he calls it a career. |

Re: Bengals Ink Marshall
Hopefully he'll come back from this injury next season. He is a good player and will find work. Perhaps the Bucs will send Trotter to Cinci?
