Frankly I don't care,I want Coughlin gone ,we will either get Cowher or Fox from what I've been told,it will also be the last for Tommer (I like him) and Strahan and for a few other maybe so we will start anew in 08.Yes I think they can win now the talent is there...just not the coaching.

Is that just a coaching problem?

Coaching without a question .They have been telling him to throw hi to Burass and all the recievers..."over throw don't under throw".His #'s are still pretty good but this has to be his year or they must look else where.Same with Shockry.......stay healthy or pack up. |

Re: What's Portis think of Vick Now?
Portis' comments were really dumb, no doubt, but at least they were made early on in this whole thing before he really had a chance to think about what he might say if someone asked him his thoughts on dogfighting.
However, Emmitt Smith has had weeks to think about all the crap surrounding this case and he's now a member of the sports media so he should probably be prepared to speak on the subject if and when he's asked. Apparently he didn't spend much time thinking about what he might say (this is from Peter King): Quote:

Why aren't people jumping all over Smith's comments? He sounds almost as dumb as Portis did.

Hell, aside from the fact that Smith doesn't seem to think dog fighting is a big deal, what about the complete lack of logic in his statement? "Now, granted he might have been to a dogfight a time or two, maybe five times, maybe 20 times, may have bet some money, but he's not the one you're after. He's just the one who's going to take the fall -- publicly.'' He's not the one you're [the feds] are after? Really? He's not the one who owned the property where the 60+ dogs were found? He's not the one who was allegedly betting thousands of dollars on fights? He was just an innocent spectator who was simply at a dogfight a time or two, or five, or twenty? He's just being set up because he's famous and everyone knows that cops hate famous people. Good job Emmitt, I can't wait to watch you make an ass out of yourself on TV week after week.

Re: What's Portis think of Vick Now?
Yeah good points AMD, when Portis made his comments we really didn't know what was going on exactly and the extent of Vick's possible involvement.

I hope they give up on Vick...so he can hand off to CPO in his Skins uni...I have never seen one human treated so unfairly....They are pits not poddles. UFC is ok! Hell football is more violent than dog fighting. Bullfighting, boxing, cock fights, horse racing, WAR, is that stuff is cool right. Give me break. I love dogs and I still KNOW Mike is a good person.

1) People don't routinely die in the UFC or the NFL. 2) Cock fighting is illegal is most places, and I think bullfighting is illegal in the US. 3) War is not a sport and people rarely gamble on it. 4) Do you know Mike Vick personally? How do you know he's a good person? Has he ever flipped you off? Has he ever knowingly given you an STD? 5) What has Vick done in the NFL that would make you want him on the Redskins? I'd rather not have a QB with that low of a completion percentage, even if he is fast. I could go on but you've given me a headache.
