i like the superbowl 22 even though i wasnt even alive when it happened but the superbowl 26 was good too that actually was one of my first memories but the individual performance was Santana Moss in 2005 against the boys 2 tds in 3 minutes never gets old looking at that highlight

But one other really needs to be mentioned:
Troy Vincent's blocked FG, Sean Taylor's return, Nick Novak's game winner against Dallas. It was just such an insane roller coaster of emotions. And I was there. One of the greatest sports memories I'll ever have.

Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
all those were good, but mark mosely kicking the game winning fg against the giants in a snow storm,I think maybe the biggest clutch kick of all time
reason # 1.its frickin snowing! 2.its to win the game 3.he makes it were in the playoffs 4.its for the all time nfl record of most consecutive fgs made 5.the giants byron hunt gets a finger on the ball but mosely hit it so good it still made it Vinateri's kick to win the sb was awesome,but I dont think any other kick in nfl history had so many different factors involved,I'll always remeber it {moseley was named the nfls mvp that yr,the only kicker to ever win it}

Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
I can't say it's for an individual, but
The defense in Super Bowl XVII (the Riggins run), especially the pass defense. Miami had a 76-yard pass for a TD in the first half - and 80 net yards passing for the game. They had 4 pass completions in the game - and 1 in the second half. (And got picked off once.) They had 96 (net) yards running. Excluding the pass play they had 100 net (offensive) yards. I was watching in a neutral site (Boston). There were a lot of annoying Miami rooters there. The second half was spent just waiting to see if the Skins could overcome the big pass play and the kick return. The moment Riggins scored the Dolphins fans left. Even though the Skins were only up by 3 and there were 10 minutes left, everyone in the room knew the Dolphins wouldn't score again. An amazing defensive show. |

This is my most memorable game since i was there that night. Those cowGIRL fans were in shock, i lost my voice yelling. When the game ended i was going to take a picture of the stadium scoreboard but they turned it off soon as the game was over. |

Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
I have to go with Doug Williams in the SB. It was just such an ass kicking that no one expected during the first quarter.... I still get emotional watching it.
In recent memory the Dallas Monday Night game stands out... cmon that was a huge win... MNF... in dallas as they induct the triplets into their ring of fame and we're down by 13 with 4 mins to go... scoreless no less.... thats a game that was meant for all of the fans who don't turn off games...

I agree with all, but let's not forget that game against the Bears in the playoffs when Darrell Green hurdles the guy on a punt return. What a moment!!!!!

Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
My grand father died the week of the Super Bowl against Elway. My family cancelled the Super Bowl party. I will never forget that game, it was like it was meant to be. I will always remember Doug William's second quarter. I was in the 10th grade.

Re: what is the most rememberable single game redskin performance of all time?
I don't see how anything could top Doug Williams' Super Bowl performance especially since it was essentially one quarter of perfection and it is probably the best quarter of football by any quarterback in the history of the game. The Redskins did nothing in the first quarter and Williams gets so hurt that Schroeder had to come in for a series.
First play of the second quarter, 1st and 10 on the 20 and the rest is history. They could have put up 100 points in 3 quarters if they had wanted to. |

how about Washington 26- Dallas 3. 1972 NFC championship. Kilmer to Charlie Taylor, down the sideline for about 45 yards and a touchdown
