Re: 75th Anniversery in 2007

I think they should wear different throwback uniforms. But I really want to see them wear the Yellow Helmets, those were just sweet.

Because Snyder makes $ on the new jersey sales, hats.. etc.

Forget the uniform stuff how about $2.00 beers and $1.00 hotdogs for the year and if they make the playoffs with a home field game $1.00 beers and 50 cent hotdogs. Now that would make it better than the 70th.

There's no need to mess with the uniforms again, I thought those 70th anniversary uniforms were awful to say the least, they were probably made that much worse by the awful team wearing them at the time.
I loved those 70th anniversary jersey's. The spear helmets. Was that Marty or the year before?

I'd rather them win in 2007 but some retro uni's would be cool. The "R" helmets or the spears would be ok.

I guess they were decent, but I don't care for the retro jersey craze at all in any sport. I thought it was the silliest thing when the New Jersey Nets wore their retro jersey's during the NBA Finals a few years ago. To answer your question, Spurrier was the coach during the 70th anniversary season and I put "coach" generously.

Read sig....bring back throwbacks for home games and another alternate for away games.

Ahhh, you are right. I remember Shane Matthews and Danny W. wearing the retro's. Yeah, retro or not i thought they were pretty cool even though we had a crappy team.
