Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
If you had the power to go back and sign just one of the two, which one would you choose?

Obviously ARE, because he returns punts, and throw.

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
loyd has shown promise, though at times he either ran a route wrong or there was miscommunication w/MB. He can go deep, we know that.
I hope Carter has just not been feeling it, & is waiting to break out. No excuses, we'll take any progress we can get. |

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
el, i mean, neither one of the WRs looks that bad, but we've got patten sorta cheap and those contracts are killers if they're allowed to hit their 4th year for the current production.

Carter has been disappointing but has shown sparks and has the explosive speed the skins D needs. I feel that what he really needs is some more support from inside - a little more pressure coming from elsewhere on the line could help him tremendously. |

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
If anything, he needs to work inside. He ends up trying to work outside and gets pushed downfield.

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
Good point! Despite being paid 'Main Man' money, I don't think that Carter is 'Main Man' material. However, if the Skins did have a genuine 'Main Man' on the other end, Carter could be a very good player - maybe 10-12 sacks a season.

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
I predict 2 sacks from carter this week, and 80 yards recieving from Lloyd, especially of moss is out. But I'm retarted..................ly in love with the redskins.

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
Hey, let's lay off on the criticism of Andre Carter.
Remember, it's the defensive tackles' fault -- not his -- that he's not getting to the quarterback. |

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
Actually, I blame those pesky offensive linemen for getting in his way. If they weren't there he'd get a couple of sacks.

Re: Carter and Lloyd Looking Promising
I dont buy it, the running back had teh ball dumped off to him before the receivers finished their routes to begin with...
