that would be two awesome offenses if Walker went to Miami. Dillon, Branch, Walker, Watson, and Brady is pretty nice, but if he went to Miami that'd be Brown, Chambers, Walker, McMichael, and Culpepper. that'd be an insane offense to match up against.

Ronald W. Powell, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman contacted the San Diego Chargers this week about the possibility of beginning talks that could end with relocating the Chargers to Las Vegas. The Chargers responded with a letter informing Goodman that their lease with San Diego prohibits them from talking with other cities until Jan. 1. Goodman said Wednesday, April 26, that he is not deterred. Goodman's overture came as a result of the announcement last week by San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders that he supports allowing the Chargers to explore relocating to other cities in the county in the team's pursuit of a new stadium.
I thought the NFL wanted nothing to do with Las Vegas. You know, to protect their squeaky-clean, 'no one gambles in this league' image. In fact, wasn't it just a year or two ago that the NFL refused to allow Las Vegas commercials to be aired during the Super Bowl?

One more thing -- That Guy, what do you mean by saying that 'Dillon may be done?'

damn yeah I forgot about booker. all I know is if that trade happened I'd be glad the skins don't have to play that offense more than once every few years unless @the big dance.

and I agree dillon looked like he got really really old between the Pats winning their last SB and last year.

hit the wall, turned to crap. Eddie George and Stephen Davis are two very recent examples of running backs just losing thier ability in an instant. He looked really bad all last year after such a great first year in NE.

First the Broncos only have 1 first round pick they traded the #22 pick of the first round away to the 49ers.

Second, what noise does Walker make? And Walker has only 4 years in the NFL as opposed to Lelie's 5 years. Walker wanted more money from Green Bay and was holding out, Favre was the one making noise about the situation, telling Walker to get to camp and what not. Favre should have minded his own business and started to think about weither or not he will retire then so we would not have to get that story jammed down our throats... I dont blame Walker for wanting out of Green Bay, I mean who wouldn't after a fellow team mate just ripped you they way Favre did to him.

I agree that most tight ends are not game changers but show me a tight end in the NFL that is 254lbs and runs a 4.37/4.38 40... That is a freak of nature!!! I am not sure if you have ever seen him play or any highlights but they man is a beast. And going to a team like the JETS, 49ers, Saints or any team with a shotty o-line he would be a god-send. Any QB would love to have a good reliable dump off guy like Davis, hell look at how good Gates made D. Brees look....

I think any chance that Vernon Davis had of becoming a Jets flew out the window when he said that he was going to be one. Oh dear the irony!

Would you include Marshall Faulk in that category? Looks like the Rams snapped up Steven Jackson at just the right time.

And to think Parcells and the Cowboys passed on him in favor of Julius Jones!

yeah, we made fun of the dallas fans that were passing it off as a good move a day after the draft. It was an obvious mistake, even at the time... but its cool, cause now they have THREE fairly average RBs there

on the flip side (though not nearly as obvious at the time) is that we could have taken A. Boldin instead of the craptacular T. Jacobs we really didn't need an extra 1,200 receiving yards every year anyways.
