He run's a 4.9 at that weight which aint bad, he would be a perfect guy when we use our jumbo package, or any other run package for that matter.

Peters would be are blocking tight end. NOt h-back, h-back needs to have some speed and be a good reciever. THink of h-back as a fullback who's on motion morea and doesn't line up behind the quaterback most of the time.

Looks like we also signed Billy Strother, OLB, New Mexico....

http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/william_strother

The Post says we signed eight players. Wonder who the others are...

From the Washington Times:

"Washington officials moved quickly after the draft's 255th and final pick to sign 10 undrafted players. Among the take were New Mexico linebacker William Strother, BYU tackle Quinn Christensen and two Maryland players, wide receiver Jafar Williams and safety Dennard Wilson, according to a club official."

Quinn Christensen: http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/quinn_christensen

Anyone have some scouting reports on the Maryland guys

sorry guys, all the Miami d-linemen have gone in the first round the last few years, the Eagles took one in the first and mabye 3rd last year. There is one guy that I like, Jason Gaethers, but hes a running back/wide receiver and a return guy. None of which we really need.

This guy sounds like a monster. At height: 5-9, Weight: 336 he is a fire plug, would be impossible to move, at 5-9 he would out leverage all o-lineman. What amazes me about him is he is a good pass rusher, recording 220 tackles (132 solos) with 18 sacks for minus-116 yards. Would be grat for Redskins since they are planning on using the 3-4 defense on ocassion.
Earned Sun Belt league Player of the Year honors in each of his last two seasons, unheard of for a NT.
The four-year starter has the prefect blend of strength, size and speed to dominate the action in the middle of the field … Unlike most nose guards, Kennedy has had considerable success getting to the quarterback throughout his career … Started 44 of 48 games for the Mean Green, recording 220 tackles (132 solos) with 18 sacks for minus-116 yards, a conference and school all-time record 65 stops for losses of 215 yards, four fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles and five pass deflections.
I think teams have overlooked him just because he is short.

Most of thesed college guys are restriced from minicamp, though. They have to wait until their school has their graduation ceremonies before attending any NFL camps.

the linebacker from new mexico sounds like he could perform well on special teams and possibly work his way into a back up to someone like arrington on.
