I like both of those players but I think I'd be most satisfied with Massie and Miller in Round 4.

Good to see the Warpath's talent evaluators out in full force this morning.

Would love to see Potter too! Great experience in the zone scheme and paved the way for Doug Martin at Boise. If we get Boykin today, the LeRibeus pick is water under the bridge.

Hope we get some more recognizable names today. If we don't know a guy, he's probably a reach, right?

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

I see a lot of people pushing for a receiver....no. focus on need, o line, safety, corner. WR can wait, RB can wait. With our 4th rounders I will be happy with boykins and nate potter or massie.

Exactly! Hopefully we draft Harry Potter everyone knows that name so he must be awesome!

Exactly. The way some people were talking about LeRibeous (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) you'd think we need prettier offensive lineman.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

At first it seemed like the most pressing need on the offensive line was right tackle. Instead, a left guard was chosen yesterday. Mike Shanahan said that the team is fine at RT and he was pleased with the depth that Tyler Polumbus provided and he Shanahan gave Jammal Brown at vote of confidence by saying that he feels good about where he is for the first time in the time Brown has been in Washington.

Completely agree; CB, OL, are priorities regardless of the player's name.

It's only a reach if you don't like him or he doesn't fit your system. Obviously they scouted him, evaluated him, and Shanny coached him so that was enough to convince them they needed to get him at that point in the third.

I'm ok with it and will reserve judgement until I actually see him in action in the NFL.

Exactly. Well, one area of his game I really liked (which didnt show up on tape of course) was his name, Josh McRibeus. It will slot nicely behind Lichtensteiger on the depth chart. I was thinking about adding McRibeus to the "prove me wrong thread", but I thought that might be too soon in his 15 hour Redskin career.

We all want the samething and I hope he works out. Just a head-scratcher with alot of talent still on the board last night.

Ha. To be honest I have been so busy this year with my family, school, and of course a full time job I hardly know any names in this draft.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Day 3

Just a thought: It's really amazing how some people on here wanted the FO to draft an O-lineman, and when we do, the same people who wanted an O-lineman are already bashing the kid when he hasn't even stepped on the field, because "there were better G's available", "He's not as strong or fast as player X", or "he's not the O-lineman I wanted." Leribeus is an underrated, versatile, and an explosive interior lineman ATPOA; he can play LG,C, RG and adds much needed depth, and versatility on the interior O-line. Some scouts gave him a 3rd-4th round grade, others a later round grade, but we also recieved an EXTRA 7th round pick by trading back two spots, and drafted a solid OL. How can the Leribeus pick be a "bad pick" when we needed to fortify the interior of our O-line, and he hasn't yet stepped on the field?
