Wow. The Orioles.
Maryland School for the Deaf football - The Frederick News-Post Online

You guys averaged 49.55 pts/gm and had a RB run for 1500 yds, 25 TDs that year of the article. (2008)

I'm impressed.

Nice mascot.

Thanks man! Yup, I believe you are talking about Ryan Bonheyo.. He's playing LB in Towson U, although he was redshirt recent season..

Edit: By the way, I played during 2005 & 2006..

Re: Reed Doughty broke bone in hand

I feel stupid. When I saw this thread I pictured him going through the whole season with a broken hand. Like it was a torn acl or something to that effect.

When I played semi-pro with the DC Stonewalls, we would play Gallaudet University once every year. Many of their players were hearing impaired, our heads were always turning after the plays ended because they couldn't hear the whistle.

Reed is a tough guy, one I've always rooted for to do well.

Redskins free agent possibilities « DC Pro Sports Report
S Oshiomogho Atogwe — Definitely the best free agent on the market, Atogwe was cut loose by the Rams — even though he is clearly their best defensive player — because they don’t want to meet his sky-high asking price. The price tag has also scared the Lions off, though they want him badly and are watching carefully to see if Atogwe adjusts his bargaining positions. Atogwe would fill a need for the Redskins, who have had huge problems at safety ever since Sean Taylor died. The Redskins are reportedly interested, but, like the Lions, not interested at Atogwe’s current price. Even Dan Snyder has his spending limits and Atogwe has apparently found it. He’s a big-time playmaker, but can the Redskins keep spending huge money on safeties?
Love Reed, but now's a great time to get OJ. Not sure why we're loading up on old RB's..

Re: Reed Doughty broke bone in hand

Considering Haslett knows Atogwe pretty well, the fact that we're not interested says a lot. He's not worth the price.

Yes, but next year will most likely come with a cap. A hard cap such as the one employed by the NFL is imperative not only in terms of parity but long term financial stability. I mean heck, the hard cap is the main reason Ted Leonis is able to say the NHL is more financially stable than the NBA with a straight face. I personally doubt the owners will be stupid enough to go back to the old system.

Everything you've touched on here is pretty much correct, but I still think Atogwe/no Atogwe is going to be strictly a football decision.

Don't worry, it doesn't hurt. Even with a broken hand, RD is ten times better than the grilled cheese sandwich.
